Motorola Razr front screen blue, inside screen white/blank
I have a Motorola Razr that I purchased a year and 5 months ago, so the warranty is void (1 yr warranty). The phone has worked great up until a week ago when the top display screen turned blue and the inside display screen turned white. My display image has came back a couple times for a couple minutes, but always goes white again. I have read through some of the threads and have tried the magnet trick and replacing the battery numerous times. Some of the threads refer to a strip to reattach..as it becomes loose i guess. I'm technical and have problem opening this thing up if anyone can guide me through it(never worked on a cell lol), and if thats what you think my issue is. I appreciate any help you guys can offer.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

This happens with most Razr's. They aren't quality phones. I think the best way to fix the problem is to get a new phone. You can take it to your wireless provider's service center and they will replace is for free if it's under warranty. If it's verizon you can purchase a used phone from a local retailer for a cheap price.
You have to re-install the phone software buddy. Get it to a repair center. Don't worry they wont open up the screws. Its only an external process. If it still does same its an hardware problem for sure.
if the screen is all white, the inside LCD is probably broke. The V3 razr are being assembled in india with crappy parts, you need to order a new display unit and have it installed or get a new phone, the unit is $45 US and can be bought online through ebay or if you call your provider they should replace it if your phone is still under warranty. The only problem with this is that if ANY of the water damage disks have been set off that voids your warranty, i had that problem and my phone has never ever been anywhere near water in the 11 months that i have had it and had to replace the display unit myself. A good place to get the unit from or have them install one is this guy in florida http://stores.ebay.com/RAZR-Screen-Repair-LCD-V3-V3c-SLVR.
Try the phone while plugged in and see what happens. If it works fine then it's probably the battery or the contacts to the battery. I've had a problem with my razr that's similar to this. My razr is on the keys light up when i press something but the screen is completely blank open and closed and all the buttons work. Best thing to try is leave out with battery and sim card out and it might start working again. However if it is only 2 months old it should still be covered under warranty.
I had this problem too. My razrs screen would just go white every 15 minutes maybe, and i would have to turn it off and back on.There was a white line at the bottom of the screen also, so i went to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=&language=&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=US%20Cellular&strPhone=V3c&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable
and downloaded thee software update.
after it was finished the white line went away
the screen never went white and it fixed everything
Before you open it and look inside it check to see if the magnetic switch is stuck. Check it with a kitchen magnet to the upper righthand corner of the keypad. There is a magnet in the lower righthand corner to activate it. Do some of the function work when it is closed? If they do then it is not the cable but the switch. Does the outside screen look the same as if it is closed then it is this switch? Could be a bad one, something stuck in there, or it could be stuck.
