Plasma is old technology and it is 16 years old and made in Mexico, the worst place for quality control. It is time for a new one, or at least an upgrade. Or you can get a board kit and take a chance on fixing it.

Tapes recorded on one camcorder very rarely play back satisfactorily on another machine - you will have to use your old camcorder to view them, or else get them transferred to DVD

You will have to use AV cables and an adapter. The adapter looks like a scart cable connector, it is that shape , and it has 3 inputs
one red one white and one yellow. It should fit in a spare scart socket on the tv and the cables should attach to the camcorder.
Just program the video to a particular channel, you may have to consult your owners documentation to discover how this is done. Go to the channel, insert the tape and press play.

If you talking about on one screen, you cant. BUT you can buy a TV card for your computer so that it will have a built in TV. so you can theoretically have split screen TV and computer. But what your thinking off only works on 2 or more player games consoles

Go from the output of the satelite to the vcr/dvd input and from the dvd/vcr output to plasma set.

Seems video head of your handy-cam is dirty or clogged. Use good quality video head cleaning tape to clean video head.

1st setup ur VCD with TV and playback it to view on TV. If picture is coming, thats OK.
2nd plug ur camcorder in VCR input and select VCR input according to plug in and monitor the camcorder picture on TV through VCR. If its ok, now u r ready to record the picture from camcorder to VCR.

trying to view tapes, but i don't get a picture. it looks like a "blank" tape is in.
