Hi,
I have just had my peg perego car capsule fitted but seem to have lost the instruction booklet that comes with it.
Is anyone able to give me a 101 rundown on how to use it? I'm due to have my first baby in 9 days and I'm getting a little concerned with no knowing how to use it.
Thanks for your help!
Kind regards,
Holly
SOURCE: I need to take my peg perego car seat off the chassis of stroller
It releases from the chassis the same way it releases from the base in the car. You may have to hold down on the stroller chassis with your foot while pulling up on the lever on the back of the car seat.
SOURCE: Styrofoam insert for Peg Perego Infant Car seat
Hi, I figured I would post the outcome since I was searching for resolutions. I called Peg Perego. The piece that is cracked on my Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP Infant Car Seat is the top of the center section of the headrest. The representative said it can be replaced with a new headrest piece for $32.99 (including shipping). The new piece does not have stryofoam though. It's just a heavier material (almost pillow-like). The representative that I spoke to, however, said that if the styrofoam was a clean break (meaning not in a whole bunch of pieces) it's still safe to keep it together under the cover and use the car seat as normal. Apparently, that's not what's really protecting the baby anyway. To be honest, I don't even think that I broke the styrofoam while taking the cover off, I think it was broken beforehand probably by just use and the weight of the baby. I will get some styrofoam glue and duct tape and just secure it, and put my sparkly clean cover back over top of it. I think it's fine for use. Thanks and good luck to others with this issue out there!
