If you forgot your password for the web access, then the only way to get into your router is to reset it to factory defaults. Hold the reset button on the back of the router pressed down for about 10-15 seconds. (You might need a pen or other thin object to do that.) If you forgot your password for wireless access, you have to connect via a cable, log in through the web interface and then reset the wireless password. The reset button is located on the back of router. You will need paper clip or small screw driver to push it down for 30sec. The default password is"password".
you can choose the small pinhole in the back to "reset" back to default settings out of the box. Or try 10 possibilities you can think of. Sometimes closing my eyes and trying helps me remember if I forgot.
