If there is no issue with your monitor then try to reset your CMOS by shorting the jumper or by removing the CMOS battery

remove the battery and start your pc after 10 sec power off and put the battery again and follow the instruction on the monitor or press the del key and F2 to enter into the bios do this and let me know.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Motherboard won't recognize hard drive. won't book from windows 7 disc

Hello you have to enter the bios option to change the bootup settings.
Press the DEL or F2 button to enter the bios.
Next select the boot option, and make the DVD drive as first boot device, harddrive second.
Leave the bios by saving the settings you just made.

Place the windows disc in the dvd drive, and reboot.
The screen turns black, and a small text comes on top:
Press any key to boot from disk, use the space button.
Now the installation will start.
Remember to format the harddrive, when prompt.

The drivers can be downloaded here:

BIOS can not boot

HelloSubhendu,

It sounds like the boot partition for your o/s is corrupt or missing a file.

The first thing I would rule out is a problem with the settings for your bios.So boot the PC on, as soon as you start seeing text press (Esc, Del, F10, F8) usually one of those buttons to access your bios options.

Once you are in the bios options page, Select the Exit Tab, In it should be a "Restore Defaults" option, select it.

After restoring the default settings select "Save Changes and Exit".

See if that helps you get past the boot screen. Post back with the results so I may be able to assist you further.

My keys are making a clicking noise and the llaptopis buzzing it is driving me nuts please help it all started when a screen came up talking about stikey keys I push a few buttons (very dumb) but now I...

These features are normally turned on in the Bios. The bios is normally accessed by clicking the del key on the laptop at boot up. Once in the bios you should get a different screen normally black background with blue writing. Please read the options carefully on the screen as it clearly explains how to turn on and off different options.
you should have an option to turn off key click noises and also to turn the fan from high performance to compatibility mode to reduce noise,

Does asus p5gc-mmx/1333 support usb booting

Yes, enter the bios by pressing the del key on start up, you will need to have the usb device connected.
Enter the advanced settings tab and your usb device should be selectable as a boot device.
If the bios has no such option, find out what bios revision you are using (on the first blue screen after hitting the del key) and check the asus website for a bios revision that is newer.

I hope this has been helpful

to solve your black screen with just cursor
1. disconnect all (external) devices on your netbook 2. remove battery and adapter then press and hold the power button to drain flea power for about a minute 3. put the battery and adapter back in. 4. power on (as soon as you hit power button tap "F8" key) 5. advance boot options>safe mode (after loading still black screen and just cursor: press alt + ctrl + del then access task manager - new task > run > explorer.exe (should bring up your desktop) 6. access system restore under start > accessories > system tools > system restore 7. restore to an earlier time
to solve your re-installation of OS
1. boot to bios by pressing "F2" or "Del" (depending on your manufacturer) 2. once in bios look for restore defaults 3. save and exit 4. boot options under "F12" highlight media drive press enter and continue pressing enter until you see windows loading screen

Cannot boot from cd and run setup

When booting, the writing on the black screen should give you a couple of options akin to

Press F2 to edit boot options or
Press "Del" to enter setup. (bios)

You can use either, but you need to set your CD/DVD disk drive as the first boot option.
