Hi,
Possibilities for dry soldering. its a Common problem with this model. Also can happen because of aging . Its tedous procees to open and repair the av receivers. Its better to find expert who can do it for you. i think Marantz authorized service center will not do this as its an out dated model .

SR4600 standby light on, what is the steps to reset. Red light not flashing but stays solid when powered on

On the SR6004 the factory reset is accomplished by holding the Surround Mode + Clear buttons for 3 seconds. You may need to check the last page of the troubleshooting section in your manual if your model is different.

Marantz SR-6300 receiver frozen in the CDR mode

It may be weird but it's a small suggestion formerly often occurred at Sony Trinitron TVs building years of 80/90 . maybe the same kind of problem.

How do I check the internal wiring for input voltage on a Marantz 4060 Quad Amp?

The only way would be a voltage selection switch on the back of the unit, or changing pigtail leads on the primary side of the power transformer.

" display mode OFF"

You can select the display mode for the front display
of the SR7001.To select this mode, press the DISPLAY on the remote control or the front panel. When this button is pressed, the display mode is switched in the following sequence.Input Mode ? Surround Mode ? Auto display OFF ? Display OFF ? Normal Mode ? Input Mode Normal Mode: Displays the selected input function. If the function has been renamed using the Function Rename feature (see page 26), the renamed name appears on the display. Input Mode: Displays the input mode set via the Function Input Setup feature (see page 25). Surround Mode: Displays the status of the selected surround mode. Auto Display Off mode: The display is off. But, if you make a change to the unit such as the input or surround mode, the display will show that change, then go back to off after about 3 seconds. When changing the volume, it is not displayed. Display Off mode: The display is off completely. Note: • Only the DISP indicator will be illuminated on thefront display in display off condition

Trying to hook-up a turntable to sr880. which input works best? also think the receiver is muted, how do i unmute the system?

Is it Marantz???? The Marantz 880 doesn't have an input for PHONO. A traditional turntable will require a PHONO preamp between it and any Line Level input on the receiver.

Muted? Look at the front panel for clues. Maybe sure no tapes or unattached inputs are selected. Try the test tones to prove it works.

SR5004 amp on standby mode (red light blinking twice a second) / cant get it out of stand by mode

I am having the same issue as well. If you press "clear" "exit" and "surround mode" all at the same time, it will come back on. It seems to be an overheating issue. If you put a fan on it, it helps, but does not fix permanently. Anyone have any ideas for a permanent fix?
