SOURCE: Tripping out.

Sounds like a brush prob to me.
Remove rear panel and remove motor to check carbs.
Replace if there is less than 2or 3mm left.
If it still trips after replacing carbs, then motor faulty.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Hoover Tumble Dryer trips out

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems to be the issue with the Thermal Fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Whenever this fuse goes bad it'll either trip the circuit breaker or the dryer wont heat. You can also check it for continuity with an ohm meter, no continuity means the fuse is bad and you need to replace it. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: hoover primera keeps tripping electrics when i turn it on

Short circuit in m/c. If happens when turned on at wall socket, probably mains filter, if when turned on at front, could be a lot of things, basically anything inside, would need it opened up to track

The breaker box in the unit may not have the rated breaker for your appliance. Most likely.

Have them check it out.

Hi my samsung fridge/freezer suddenly started to trip my electricity,I changed the plug but still is tripping the electricity, also checked the socket, definitly the fridge

First you must isolate the problem. remove the rear service cover(unit unplugged) disconnect the wire plug to the compressor. replug the fridge. If the circuit doesn't trip ,then the compressor or relay is defective.

Could be a faulty motor or heater element, you need to isolate the heater and try it again, if it still trips, then I would suspect the motor is faulty, try unplugging the motor at the rear of the washer, and try it again, I'm afraid it is a process of elmination.

Keeps tripping electric as soon as is turned on

Remove the lower rear panel of washer, and unplug the motor lead, then try again, if it still trips out, then disconnect the leads from the heater element, try again, if it still trips, then I would suggest you call someone in to check it.

My machine flicks the mains switch as soon as i turn it on, both washing and drying. it first flicked the safety switch about halfway through a dry load...what could it be?

Hiya,
there is a few things that will do this to your electics 1st & formost if your trip switch is tripping off remember this is a safty device to prevent fire so ignoring the problem & switching the power back on to try again could run the risk of fire!!

This sounds like a heater issue since it's tripping the power on both the wash & dryer, in events of overheating the machine will trip your power for safty & to prevent the risk of fire however since you mention that it trips the power as soon as you switch it on you could have a blocked pump or burnt out motor too if your finding that the machine is tripping the power earlyer & earlyer each time you retry i would focas on the motor or the pump 1st

on rare ocasions you can spring a leak & if water gets on the electrics this will also trip the power but this is 1 of the least likely posabilatys..
remember always get a qualified electrician to work on your electrics to ensure the job is carried out correctly

Hope this helps

Hotpoint washing machine keeps tripping electric

First unplug your washer. Check the ground on the washer and make sure it isn't loose; this would be a good time to inspect the wiring harness for any problems. Next check the outlet (turn off the electric to that breaker first) make sure all the wires are tight and are making good contact; pay special attention to the neutral (white) wire. If that seems fine, and you are comfortable with going into you breaker panel, turn off that breaker and check the hot (the wire on the breaker) to make sure it isn't loose and then check the neutral wire. If either of these wires seem loose tighten them down....a loose wire will move when a load is put on it and cause the breaker to trip. If all seems normal and washer is still tripping the breaker you might want to replace the breaker.....they can go bad. Good luck!

My hotpoint ultima keeps triping the trip switch. it had f08 on the screen but now that has gone, but still trips electrics every time i press start.

Hi

f08 means heater relay cannot be actived so try unplugging heater element and see if it stops tripping the electrics.
