Keeps tripping the electric

SOURCE: hoover nextra keeps tripping electric

disconect motor and try again if still trips try pump,if trips again disconnect heater.This is prosess of elimination.

SOURCE: Tripping out.

Sounds like a brush prob to me.
Remove rear panel and remove motor to check carbs.
Replace if there is less than 2or 3mm left.
If it still trips after replacing carbs, then motor faulty.

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems to be the issue with the Thermal Fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Whenever this fuse goes bad it'll either trip the circuit breaker or the dryer wont heat. You can also check it for continuity with an ohm meter, no continuity means the fuse is bad and you need to replace it. Short circuit in m/c. If happens when turned on at wall socket, probably mains filter, if when turned on at front, could be a lot of things, basically anything inside, would need it opened up to track
