Scan it, yet, that is first (after checking fuses)
scan it see whats up. and for sure 2007+ jeeps. big time.
the check engine light is on (oBD2 check light?)

we cant do noise here.
deaf
but you can find the location, nothing else matters, the spot that makes noise.

what did you do, did you select 4wd or what?

The Liberty is available with either a part-time Command-Trac or full-time Selec-Trac transfer case.

if yes, which system do you have, we cant guess any of this.

Testimonial: "I live in sub zero Toledo, Ohio .. it is the door locks..it squeals when they automatically lock...it still locks them but makes that noise everything appears to be running great the on board diagnostic light has gone off. The car book says nothing about this. It started when it was sub zero for a few nights. Not overly concerned just thought someone might have had same experience. I have the button you push for non-slipping and I also have PT and FT 4w drive, which we have used but I'm sure that is not the problem. TY Ms. Sam Dean"

auto door looks, so turn it off. me too, your first post left off a key word "doors" if the locks work great manually, then turn of autolock, feature. all that stuff is programmible, i have my 08 slicked off a that, i lock car , silent , no lights flashing nor horn noise, non of that jive. (stealth mode, wis) the front axles use a auto locking device too, unlike the old jeeps with and AXLE knob. you have FT 4wd, "max magic" my guess is the BCM commands the doors looked and they act up from the cold. id not repair a car for that but , its your call. im in texas so no big deal here. but lived way up north before retiring.

as you see all this , stuff (complex) is subject to ICING, and not really up to prime time, due to this reality.? the more parts in the chain of action , not more lickely it can break and ice up. mechs.101. and recalls expired, etc.

unlike my jeep opr guide, no page in yours shows "Automatic Door Locks" how to disable them,. jeep plays these tricks, year to year, model to model (not consistant pita)

non, 3 recalls but not doors. the dealer can shut it off, with StarScan , tools. I used Superchips, flashcal to turn off all the bs on my jeep. (for 1/2 price of dealer trips)

no my guess, the lock solenoid, has clutch inside that slips. with overload, and ice is overload. seem some cars, the clutch inside is bad? and fails with no overload. (my best guess)

Like all noise problems posted here I always suggest you have a local shop listen to the noise. The reason is this, can't hear the noise over this keyboard.

If you here a clicking noise it may be locked up but if you here nothing you can take it off and go by most auto parts store and they can test it for you it may be going bad or has gone bad.

I currently have had my air conditioner die on me. When you turn it on it sounds like its working but nothing comes out. As soon as the air conditioning went my car started squealing when I accelerate.

The a/c compressor clutch might have locked up it should be free spinning when not engaged but could cause a belt to squeal and possiblly break if locked up

My A3 is making a squealing noise when I turn on the air from inside of the car. There is what looks like a line of oil that has been sprayed over the belt on the left hand side of the engine. I was...

Check power steering and all fluids to see where this leak is coming from.
If the a/c compressor engages and the belt is oily, that could cause the squealing noise, or the compressor is bad and locking up, due to a lack of oil.

4 wheel drive (auto locking hubs) seems to be trying to engage.

I had the same thing happen. The automatic locking hubs are faulty, causing one or both hubs to try to engage or disengage onto the front driveshaft. This makes the clicking noise and loud clunking that you hear. You may notice your steering pulling to one side of the road, because one hub is locked in. Replace the automatic hubs with new ones, do not try to fix the old ones. I liked the
convience of automatic hubs but replaced mine with manual hubs, there just way more reliable.
