Input select function... without a remote? (by 6 users)

i'm having the same problem except it's even stranger.

i buy a universal remote and it works with my emerson t.v for several months, then all of a sudden just stops working. replaced batteries, reprogrammed the codes, etc and nothing. i've allready bought 3 remotes. i just don't understand.

Same type of problem as above. One twist, I have a satelite dish on this tv and the input channel for that being 73.

no remote is it possible to use input function manually?

I have lost the remote for my Emerson EWF2704 and now am unable to change the input switch from cable to my dvd player. I have purchased a couple of different universal remotes and the input select button does nothing. I am able to turn the tv on/off and change chanels, but still am unable to change the input selection. Is there any solution?

I have lost the remote to my Emerson 2704. A universal cannot access the menu to change the INPUT functions. I also cannot access this part of the menu from the panel on the front of the televison. It allows me to access the Picture, Channel Set, Language, V-Chip, Caption and Sound menus. I cannot get access to the PlayStation or the DVD anymore - the VCR connects fine. Where on the menu do I find the Input menu, or where can I find a remote that will access this television? Much thanks!
