Clear BIOS pwd micron gx3 notebook

How do I clear the BIOS password? Tried old tricks, now looking for a jumper on motherboard. Is there one? Where? Its a real pain to open this up.

Set the Cmos jumper to clear. Power up the pc. Power down the PC. Set the Cmos jumper back to normal position, power up the PC.

Or take out the coin battery and replace it after 10 seconds.

Note, all bios settings will be set to default. So be aware of some possible issues you may need to correct in bios after the reset.

- I am sorry I did not read that it was a laptop. This is more tricky.. But still works the same.

You will have to remove the keyboard or the back case molding to get to the CMOS coinbattery.

here is the battery.. The black plastic covered battery. you would have to unplug it.
