You probably won't like my answer, but the best stylus is your finger.
Apple made the capacitive touch screen so people shouldn't have to use a stylus pen. Older devices with a resistive screen need a stylus pen.
If you're used to use a resistive screen like on older GPS-devices, you need to adjust yourself to a capacitive screen of your iPhone.
-Don't try to touch items with the tip of your finger or nail.
-Even if you touch a letter on the phones keyboard with your thumb (which is maybe four times the size of the button), doen't the to touch it with the tip of your thumb. Place your thumb over the button, BUT MAKE SURE THE BUTTON IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AREA YOU TOUH WITH YOUR THUMB!

Just give it a try. Once you're used to it, you'll never want a stylus anymore. Everyone i know who ever buyed a stylus never used it.

Where can I purchase a stylist for my tablet

Hello, Della -

Fixya.com receives questions from people all over the world. Without knowing where (what country) you live, it is a challenge to recommend where you can purchase a stylus (not a stylist) to use with your tablet.

You can use your favorite search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo Search, etc.) and enter the following search strategy to get a list of website and bricks and mortar businesses which sell styli (plural of stylus):
table stylus

In case you live in the USA, I see Best Buy sells a variety of styli:
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ipad-tablet-ereader-accessories/tablet-stylus/pcmcat242000050006.c?id=pcmcat242000050006

Note: The website lifehacker.com has an article listing what they consider to be the 5 best tablet styli:

Best wishes.

What type or brand of stylus should I use for my iPhone 5S? My fingers are such that they do not do the job properly.

Try a wide variety before making a commitment. I have tried every major band. for older or arthritic fingers i think the paper stylus by 53 is great. i personally use the wacom bluetooth ones as when in the right app they turn off input from all but pen allowing me to rest my hand on screen for support as needed, and have very very fine resolution, the adonit BT stylus is also another fantastic option.

There is no setting for using a stylus. It works under the same circumstances as your finger swiping. Try restarting the phone...?

Your iphone is locked because you enter wrong passcodes:
Put your Iphone in DFU mode than connect it to Itunes and restore it from Backup or reinstall it IOS.
How to enter iPhone DFU mode
  • Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
  • Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
  • Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
  • Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected

Red screen

A popular trend as of late is sketching and designing on the iPad, iPhone and iPod. Maybe because of the versatility of these devices, maybe because it is so much fun; To make your designs even easier to work on and look better, try using a stylus. One of the best on the market right now is the iPhone Stylus Pen

How do I change the sensitivity to the screen so that I can use my longnails & not my finger?

you will not be able to use your fingernail on the hero screen. the touch screen is similar to the iphone (capacitive) and different to most other touch screens that use a stylus (resistive).

your finger is required for the screen to pick up where you touch.

there is a special stylus you can buy that will work, but make sure it is specifically for the iphone. a standard plastic tipped stylus will not work.
