Most machines have a jumper to reset the BIOS password. Sometimes, you just have to remove the coin cell battery and wait a few minutes for it to clear.
Try looking on NEC's website for that specific info on that model.
At any rate, it CAN be cleared out.

I recently replaced the fan in the laptop, before i did this the computer would start but the fan would make an awful noise. after i put it back together it did not turn on from the battery or the power cable. while the power cable is plugged in the power button is lit up white, the charging icon is on, and the light next to where it plugs in is on. i have double checked to make sure i reassembled everything properly and it wont turn on. and i alredy tried removing the battery and the ram.
