Flashing red screen when i play games

I have a windows xp sp2 with a amd duron processer, and i have a nvidia geforce fx5200 graphics card, 384 ram, 1.29ghz, a plug and play monitor, lots of free memory and a max of 1306 ( i think )of visual ram. when i open up a game it starts but it flashes red. this occurs on all my games even ones like the old age of empires which needed no graphics card. ive installed the newest direct x. ive cleared my whole pc. ive installed the newest drivers for it on the nvidia website. ive changed the settings which it recommends. ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it and taken my computer to shreds but still nothing changes so can u please tell me what is wrong with it and how can i fix it?

Slow Graphic Acceleration

i play WoW and i recommend you get at least 2Gig memory and with that card you need to run the game in low settings. The 5200 series card is not high end gaming card. If you have pci express slot i highly recommend a 9600GT. But first upgrade to 2Gig RAM

More Ram for graphics

You can share the RAM for VGA max of 256 only for some motherboards. On BIOS select the AUTO instead of selecting 128MB share memory.

Too slow

the only way to improve graphics is to upgrade your graphics card and ensure that you have enough system memory and proccesor power to run the game as it should do. If you have a 32MB or 64MB card then maybe you should go for atleast 128MB
