I was told that the noise issue is with the power supply board

Part number:1ESA13003
you can purchase it at https://www.encompassparts.com for about $170.00

I have not replaced mine yet. I am trying to see if I can get the part numbers off the transformers first so I can replace those (which is what i think the noise is coming from.

I hate to tell you this, but they all do it. I returned mine and the replacement does the same thing.

It sounds like one of those cables has a defective ground. The static noise you are experiencing is cause by the cables not inside the TV. Try using different cables to isolate the problem and get new ones.
Good Luck.

Hi. It seems that the g2 voltage of the picture tube is too high, resulting in a white screen, often with white horizontal lines. The g2 (= second grid) voltage is derived from the flyback high voltage. The voltage divider is mostly integrated in the flyback trafo housing.(including the adjustment knobs). A failure in this divider may lead to this defect. The static you hear may come from sparking in the divider. The flyback trafo is soldered onto the main printed cirrcuit board. Sometimes, one of the pins sits loose in the soldering pads.
Turn on the set and observe for any sparking around the entire flyback circuitry, and, or the flyback trafo itself
The screen turns black after a while, as a too high beamcurrent is detected. The set disables the flyback. Stand-by blinks meaning that there is a fault condition.
Be carefull with the high voltages. The flyback voltage is very high (20-30 Kilovolts !) and may be lethal !!

Static noise and blurry screen

You need to take your TV set to Service Center, because the inner parts, especially the flyback transformer, been damaged or worse, the connector broken, that's why you can hear the noise.

My 55" sony Wega Model # KDF55XS955 let out a loud noise than the picture disappeared. Can you tell me what may have happened

Loud noise could be of any exhaust fans in TV.
Does TV go to standby when picture disappears? if yes, its standby light would start blinking, please count it and let me know to find out problem section.

N o picture just static noise

The symptom sounds like a dead tuner and the screen blanking may be due to missing video synchronization signals which may cause either blanking or 'blue screen' on some sets.
This could also still be because of a failing power supply although they will generally just cause no turn-on at all.
I would first substitute another TV just to be sure your signal source (cable or satellite) isn't causign the loss of signal.

Vizio makes loud static noise, picture goes fuzzy.

You should check your home wiring and grounding. Also be aware of anything that has recently been turned on when this happens. Anyone using a microvwave, cell phone, or other appliance that might be causing the interference.

Samsung DLP HLR5668W has mostly dark picture + grinding noise

Pix looks like a light pipe issue, inside the Light Engine. as far as the shutting down, could be a bad fan causing the grinding and when stopps the DMD turns the set off.
