If it works sometimes but not others, the most common faults are overheating components (AC clutch, control relays, ) pressure problems (high or low pressure or sensors reading too high or low after they are on for awhile), or defective blend door or temp control system.
AC isnt complicated. It really hasnt changed much at all in 20 years, and didnt change for 50 years before that aside from what refrigerant is put in. the theory hasnt changed. If you mechanic was checking condensers for leaks, and didnt find them, Id suggest someone more skilled at AC work. Condensers are NEVER EVER intermittent problems. They leak, or they plug solid. Neither condition comes and goes. Your problem is in system pressures, or electrical control, or clutch. Period.
The driver''s side has either a broken or missing wiper nozzle. the only way you will be able to make it spray evenly is by replacing the nozzle. The problem is that without the nozzle, you will get a high volume of fluid delivered rather than the high pressure you should get if the restriction of the nozzle were there. It is akin to a the spray of a bare garden hose vs. one with an adjustable nozzle.
It sounds like you have a faulty power switch. I would recommend that you test it to see if you are getting power to the switch, and if you are, then you will want to see if you are getting power to the motor.
Either the heater core is pluged with rust,or maybe some one has used stop leak in the radiator, and caused a blockage. You can take one hose off the heater core, and the other hose off the thermostat housing.Take a garden hose to the one you took from the thermostat housing and see if it is plugged. If you get a good stream out the other end it is ok.Then the other most common thing is where the hose that goes in the intake is narrow and often gets plugged with rust or corrosion. When you take that hose off,you will be able to see the blockage if it is that.
Monitor not seeing anything is one of many things. Overclocking is one. if youve overclocked(or just to be safe), remove the battery on your motherboard and place it back in after 30 seconds to reset the BIOS, see if that works. if not, check your video card. if its onboard video, its probably now broken and you need an offboard video card to work. Pins on CPUs get bent all the time, this isnt the problem as long as you didnt physically break it off. Check the monitor on another PC. Hope this helps
Check your fuel pressure to ensure proper pressure to the block, also did you replace the fuel filter.
On a side note: 3 things a automobile needs to run
AIR-make sure you have a clean air filter and your MAF (mass air flow sensor is plugged in) if you pulled your breather to innspect anything, there is a possibility that it came unplugged or you unpluged it and forgot to hook it back up, a car wont start without it being plugged in if equiped
SPARK-Make sure your car has juice to the plugs, if the plug doesnt fire the car wont run, if you have to pull each plug and ground them to the engine block to see if they arch. If not trace the problem down (if you changed the fuel pump you have some mechanical skill and should be able to troubleshoot a spark issue)
FUEL-Check for proper pressure, dirty fuel filter(s) and if your system has a return line, make sure your hoses didnt get crossed cause this will damage the engine and regulator.
It sounds like your condensation pan or your condensation hose is pluged up. I would first check the hose, there should be a hose coming off the unit and going to a floor drain. Pull the hose off and make sure it is clear of foreign matter (don't blow on it with your mouth, take it outside and use a garden hose or air compressor to blow it out). If there is nothing plugging that up then you may need to clean out your condensation pan which is located inside the unit right behind where you took the hose off. You may have to take some screws out to get to it once you you get to it make sure it is all cleared out. Also check and make sure your filter is cleaned and the coil is clean. The coil is right above the condensation pan. This should take care of the problem. ;-)
Sounds like it's not getting enough air to fuel mix, check your air inlet line for breaks or just put a new one on for a couple bucks. any fuel line thats the right diameter will work, got mine from auto zone.
