My brew station leaks water all over the counter top before it is brewed.

Cleaning everything inside to assure proper water flow. Now just put a towel under the brew station to catch the water flow.

Mine Too! So frustrating. I have to take out the coffee filter, then remove the piece that it sets in. Make sure and clean the spring and the hole in the bottom. This seems to cure the problem until the next time. It seems to get plugged up quickly. I have learned to rinse it out every time I make coffee.

How do I get a manual for my Mr Coffee BVMCPSTX91-WN? the clean light is on and I don't how how to clean it or how to get the light off

The Mr Coffee web site has the manual on the product page: http://www.mrcoffee.com/coffee-makers/mr.-coffee-optimal-brew-10-cup-thermal-coffeemaker-black/BVMC-PSTX91.html . Click on the Service and Support tab. The direct link to the manual is http://demandware.edgesuite.net/aamb_prd/on/demandware.static/Sites-mr-coffee-Site/Sites-mr-coffee-Library/default/v1426159971356/documents/instruction-manuals/BVMC-PSTX91_43_72624326.PDF . (You'll need Adobe Reader or a similar program to print the manual.)

The Clean light will come on when the Clean button is held. It won't go off until the cleaning cycle is complete; it's completely automated. You need 4 cups (20 oz.) of white vinegar or the Mr. Coffee Cleaner (diluted as directed on the package). Make sure to remove the water filter disk from the unit before cleaning. Pour the vinegar or cleaning solution into the reservoir into the reservoir. Put in a paper coffee filter or the permanent filter into the brew basket and slide it into place. Put the empty decanter in place. Now you should press the Clean button until the Clean light comes on. The unit should slow brew 3 cups of the cleaning solution and then pause for about 30 minutes while the Clean light remains on. It should then brew the remaining solution. After the cycle finishes, the Clean light should go off. Afterwards, you need to empty the decanter and rinse it with clean water. Fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water. Then replace the decanter. The cycle could take an hour.

I hope this helps.

(some brewing systems light the Clean lamp when it's time to clean the unit after lime deposits build up. To my knowledge, most of the Mr. Coffee brewers do not.)

The red light on my coffee pot is on and will not go off. I have run cleaner thru the regular cycle now what? Its a 12 cup programmable Mr. Coffee.

I know this sounds like a pain but it takes a while toget that silly light to stop. Decalcifying your MR. COFFEEĀ® Coffeemaker Minerals(calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker andaffect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these depositsusing MR. COFFEEĀ® Cleaner or vinegar. MR. COFFEEĀ® Cleaner is available at manyretail stores or by calling the MR. COFFEEĀ® Consumer Service Department at 1-800-MR COFFEE(1-800-672-6333). 1. Follow packageinstructions to prepare one batch of MR. COFFEEĀ® Cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Before decalcifying, remove the water filtration disk from the machine. NOTE: 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white householdvinegar may be used as a substitute for the cleaner. 2. Place an emptyMR. COFFEEĀ® 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or MR. COFFEEĀ® permanent filter into the filter basketand slide the brew basket in place. 3. Place theempty decanter back in the unit. 4. Press theCLEAN button until the CLEAN indicator light turns on (Figure 9). For your convenience the cleaning cycle isautomatic. The entire cycle will take 45-60 minutes to complete. During thecleaning your coffeemaker will: a. Slow brewapprox. 3 cups of cleaning solution. b. Pause for 30minutes (the CLEAN light will remain on to alert you that the process is active). c. After 30minutes, your coffeemaker will brew the remainder of the cleaning solution. d. When complete, the CLEAN light will turn off and your coffeemaker will turn off. 5. Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanterthoroughly with clean water. 6. Fill the water reservoir with clean, fresh water. 7. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker. 8. Remove and discard the paper filter usedduring the cleaning cycle. If a Mr. CoffeeĀ® permanent filter was used during cleaning, remove it andrinse it thoroughly before replacing it in the filter basket. 9. Begin brewingand allow the full brew cycle to complete. 10. Repeat steps 5 through 9 one more time.

Water pump grinds but no water is being extracted from the resevoir and flowing through the coffee basket

You could have a clogged water hose, or you might have a clog where the water enters the coffee filter area.
One easy solution would be to look inside your pot and check it. If you think you see a clog, remove it with hot water. You may need to also use a very small, thin bottle brush to get into the tube of your pot to clean it out.

To avoid any clog problems in the future, you should fill your coffeepot with cold water and about 2 tablespoons of regular white vinegar. Put a clean coffee filter in the basket. Then let it run thru a normal coffee cycle. You can repeat this several times if necessary.
After the last time you run the vinegar solution thru, run plain water thru it a few times too.
Your problem should be solved. If not...your going to have to either contact your manufacturer, or just go out and buy a new coffee pot.
But the next time you get a new coffee pot, use the cleaning hints they tell you to use, and be vigilant about it. I have never had a clogged coffee pot because I do this.
It isn't very obvious, but if your coffee starts to taste bad, or your water starts to spit when you brew, your pot may be due for a cleaning. I clean mine about every 3 to 4 months, after daily use.

I DON'T HAVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR A TM4 MR. COFFEE ICE TEA MAKER I BOUGHT AT A THRIFT STORE TODAY. I DO NOT KNOW HOW IT WORKS. I PRESS THE BUTTON AFTER ADDING WATER TO THE WATER LINE BUT IT CLICKS OFF...

I just got the exact IcedTea maker that you have (model TM4) from Mr. Coffee. I think that we were both trying to make it work the same way, which is wrong. The plastic pitcher goes on the bottom, while the part that plugs in with the button&indicator light goes on the top. Put water in the pitcher to the indicated water line and then pour it into the part with the metal basket. I didn't have any directional sheet either so I didn't know that the water goes in there. I thought the water would be gently warmed while in the plastic pitcher. After pouring water into the heating part, fill the pitcher with ice to indicated level (about 2 ice cube trays). Place the heating part with the button&indicator light on top of the plastic pitcher and cover it with the white lid. Push the button and it will heat the water and dispense the brewed tea into the pitcher thru a valve. The indicator light will go off when the brewing process is done. The entire manual can be downloaded from going to: http://www.mrcoffee.com/manuals/MrCoffee/tm4.pdf I hope this helps you if you still have the item. I bought mine to give my daughter while in college. I really like that it is so space saving compared to many that I am finding in stores today. Good luck and happy brewing!!! Susan

When I put a k-cup in and it brews the coffee, it leaves coffe grounds all over the top of the k-cup and in the holder area and I get some in my coffee, it looks like the top needle is making too big of...

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
I would follow the cleaning list below, I an addition you may have a bad batch of k-cups
plus just run some hot water, with out a kcup in the holder.

  1. Remove the K-Cup assembly
To remove the assembly from the brewer, open the cover by lifting the handle. Grasp the top of the K-Cup Holder with one hand while pushing up on the bottom of the assembly from underneath with the other until it releases. The K-Cup Holder is dishwasher safe.
  2. Clean the Funnel
The Funnel can be removed from the K-Cup Holder by pulling on it until it snaps off. The Funnel is dishwasher safe. To replace it just snap it back onto the K-Cup Holder.
  3. Clean the exit needle
The exit needle is located on the inside bottom of the K-Cup Holder. If coffee grounds or cocoa mix gets clogged in the exit needle, it can be cleaned using a paper clip or similar tool. Remove the Funnel from the K-Cup Holder, insert the paper clip into the tube and move it around to loosen the clog and remove any debris. Please note, you cannot poke all the way through the needle as the opening of the needle is located on the side and not the top.
  4. Install the K-Cup assembly into the brewer
After cleaning, align the K-Cup Holder tabs with the opening placing the two front tabs on the bottom and the single tab on top and snap it into place by pushing down on the top rim.
I tried to help you. Please help me and Rate/Vote on my response. We take the time to answer your question. take the time to rate us.Thanks and good luck

Cleaning mr coffee ecm3 how

Deliming

SUGGESTED CLEANING SCHEDULE

Type of Water Cleaning Frequency

Soft water every 80 brew cycles, Hard water every 40 brew cycles

Your espresso maker may be delimed using one quart of white household vinegar. Clean the water tank first, following steps l-5:

1. Make sure the steam control knob is in the center off position and that the plug is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

2. If the machine is cool and the pressure has been released, remove the pressure cap and pour 10 ounces of undiluted white household vinegar into the water tank.

3. Screw on the pressure cap and allow machine to sit overnight with the vinegar solution in the water tank.

4. Remove pressure cap and discard vinegar through the top opening of the espresso maker.

5. Rinse the water tank thoroughly with tap water, repeating this step twice.

To wash internal parts:

Make sure you clean the inside of the water tank first. Remove the pressure cap and pour 10 ounces of fresh white household vinegar into the water tank. Screw the pressure cap back on top of the water tank. Make sure the cap is on tight. Insert the filter holder into the brew head and place the glass decanter with lid on the drip tray. Plug the machine into the electrical outlet and turn the power switch on. An indicator light on the power switch will tell you the machine is on. Place a cup with cold water under the steam nozzle. When vinegar begins to flow into the decanter, insert the nozzle into the water and open the steam nozzle slowly by turning the steam control knob downward. After a few seconds, close the steam nozzle by turning the knob back up to center. This will clean any residue left in the nozzle from frothing milk. When all the vinegar has been pumped into the decanter and the flow has stopped, turn the power switch to the center off position and allow the machine to cool. Repeat steps 1-7 twice using only tap water to rinse any remaining traces of vinegar out of the machine.

Decanter cleaning

1. Pour warm white vinegar in the decanter and let soak for 20 minutes.

2. Discard the vinegar, Wash and rinse the decanter thoroughly using a

soft cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
