Depending on the model, the limit reset is located on the back of the control panel. You might see a little red button or there could be a little hole that you can poke a toothpick in the push the reset button.

I bought the 3.0 deep fryer last year or the year before. I have used it once and I went to use it today and it doesn't heat

A failed element is the most likely cause, but pretty bad if used once. Check the fuse in the plug, check the power cord. Check around the back for an overheat reset button.

It is a miniature of a commercial countertop fryer.

There are no Spares are available for it.

Light comes on, but it no longer heats up.

I have a similar model of DeLonghi fryer, and I have read that many customers have problems with their fryers not heating, after owning and using them regularly for some time. Mine gives an error message and stops heating, once in a while. The lights remain on, but it displays an error message on the temperature readout. I've found that detaching the magnetic safety cord and thoroughly cleaning both the cord and the connections on the back of the machine makes a big difference. Your mileage may vary.

I have a ck20 hobart deep fryer that when plugged in and turned on, lights both lights, but does not heat.I checked both fuses with an ohm meter and they appear to be fine. Can you tell me what the...

The element will show infinite resistence if defective. Overload switch.....Do you mean High Limit T/Stat? Use your ohm meter across terminals- should read closed circuit...0 ohms. If not, push red reset button...if clicks once, is now reset and contactors will close and unit will heat. If always clicks, replace limit t/stat Like wise, check themostat--should click once for heat demand and check cicuit same as limit t/stat. May have wire burned off terminal connector at element.

Deep Fryer stopped working.

I had the same problem, but I fixed mine!!!! Make sure that the part with the control panel is locked in. It you just sit it in, it won't come on. You must lock it in on the side.

Deep Fryer Element Won't Heat Up

Look for the reset button and it should come back on. I just did and lights came on immediately.
