Nokia E51- doesn't finish charging

charging with mini usb cable is not supported by E51, u try to get usb to nokia round mini pin charger.

The sea salt water has made the charging port corrode. So get a screw driver, open the phone and bring out the charging port. The charging port is where you put our charger. Use methylated spirit to brush the charging port and the panel where the charging port is place.

Dry it for 30 minutes and couple the phone and it will start working fine.

This means the phone failed to boot or open. you need to update the firmware to be able to recover the phone system.

Here's a Guide to update your mobile program or firmware.

Nokia E51 can't be charged via usb cable connected to PC or laptop.

we can not charge any Nokkia's any mobile from computer. because nokia's mobile have two pin that one for charge and one USB. you have to connect charger when your mobile conected via computer. If mobile have only one pin for all connection your mobile atomatic charge when you connect it with computer......

Nokia E51 can not be charged using the mini usb port.

You may need to upgrade the firmware of this phone. My advise is to bring it to the authorized Nokia Care Center for proper firmware upgrade.
