My cell phone screen dont work ...help

this is like the first time me fixin a phone :)

my phone works just the screen dont work it gose on but its a blank screen..i get calls i can make calls. i just dont know what number iam putting in..i have a razor v3 and on the back i know i have alittle water damage but it works just not the screen..help me

Hey I had the same problem with my w300i ....But to add to another hell i could not even make calls ...even though I dial a number without seeing ...the problem i Had was that I could not listen to the caller...I could do it using the speaker though....just wanna know what the hell wnet roung with hte cell.But then I just didi not try to do anything with it ...Ohhh then after around 8-9 days suddenly One morning I got up and just toook the phone with me to the office.On reaching I found that evrything was ok with the Phone......The display and all was as perfect as it could be...But one thing....I still cannot hear the caller though he can listen to me....But I can do that very well with a Cell Phone on speaker mode...Some technician suggest a solution pleaseeeeeeeeeee.

is there any way that you can take pictures of how to fix it and post them so that I can see what to do with my screen?

opened torx screws as above, found connector after separation of bezel, careful not to lose screws or rubber plugs (reglue with rubber cement) or the keys (which have a direction to them)...connector for camera is easy (goes to camera, duh!) ...other (white) one is for screen(s) ...pushed it in, screens back ...had to open it again 'cuz it came loose again ...cleaned with RadioShack Control/Contact Cleaner & Lubricant #64-4315 ...pushed it back in very well until I felt it "seated" ...all is fine now...lost 1 of the rubber bumpers ...bought on ebay or from cnn.cn ...all this is for RazrV3 fone... look here for guides: http://incipiotech.com/moto/motorola_v3_housing_guide.PDF and also here: http://www.cellexcompany.com/install/v3_install.pdf ...I had torx drivers and open tool ...cannot be done without torx driver ...can use edge of credit card instead of open tool ...overall VERY EASY to do for even silly me who dropped fone on bathroom floor!!

This is a common problem, it has to do with the keypad flex. either the connector on the top part of your phone is unpluged or your flex is damaged. Open the top of the phone where the screen is at (4 torx screws) genlty remove the cover. you will see two connectors, one that goes to the camera, the other is the one you want. genlty pry it off upwards, I would also clean it with some IPA (rubbing alcohol) and a brush, re-connect it pushing down firmly, you will fill it when it connects. if it doesnt work, you can purchase a new flex, if you need repair help, let me know I can try to repair

Right on the money EZ407 and to add to what you said it may also help to insert a small piece of paper under the keypad peice cause this will help it to stay connected tight. Thanks for the heads up I was just about to buy a new phone glad I stopped by.

A friend, who studied chemistry in college, told me to try putting my phone with some salt to dry up my 8 month old slobber. So I put my phone in a bag with salt [regular table salt] over night and it worked like a charm! It dried out my phone so that I didn't have to purchase a new one. I have insurance on the phone, but now I don't have to lose any of my data or pictures. I'm now a firm believer in sending all your pictures to email and writing down all your contacts so that when your phone does die your not without those things!

Hello can anyone help me I have two razor cell phone one has a black screen I'm able to make calls and recieve calls. Then I have another razor that has two little boxes looks like two computer try to communicating it's right next to the bars at the top left corner of the screen.

How do I clear the two boxes and is the black screen repairable?
