Philips DVD dvp3007 hang problem - Philips Televison & Video

Connect external speaker and try, I am using the same, working perfectly

Try going on Phillips.com/support to get a firmware update if it has a ussb slot to do so other then that if it's new take it back.

my philips 3268X/94 hangs & stand stiils after 2-3 minutes of playback either from a dvd or pen drive.

Just try to reinstall the DVD driver software through the Add Hardware wizard at the control panel. From the Start menu, left click the Control Panel, and the Add Hardware. Right to left click to open. Just follow the instructions and let your PC do the rest. If you have an internet, connect your PC without opening any window. Your PC will autoconnect and search the internet for the proper software driver. Wait for
a few minutes, until it is installed. Hope this Help.

THE DVDR3455H HAS A COMMON PROBLEM AFTER A FEW YEARS THE HARD DRIVE GO BAD, IT WONT BOOT UP
99% OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE PHILIPS DVDR3455 IS THE HARD DRIVE.
IT WILL KEEPING REEBOOT OR IT WILL HANG ON THE PHILIPS LOGO.
IT IS NOT A FIRMWARE PROBLEM IT AHARD DRIVE PROBLEM.
ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW, IF THE HARD DRIVE IS BAD YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE IT WILL NOT READ THE CD OR DVD DISK.
AT THIS POINT IT NOT LOOKING FOR A FIRMWARW DISK BUT IT LOOKING FOR THE BOOT UP SOFTWARE.
OR THE LOAD CD WHAT PHILIPS CALL IT.

SOLUTION REPLACE THE HARD DRIVE WITH THE LOAD SOFTWARE INSTALL ON IT.
THE HARD DRIVE IS SOLD ON EBAY JUST LOOK FOR DVDR3455H YOU WILL FIN NEW DRIVE READY TO INSTALL THAT WILL FIX YOUR PROBLEM.

Sometimes a player will periodically hang if the lens is dirty.

Use a commercial "cleaning DVD" to clean the lens and see if that helps.

Also, some older players are simply not able to handle the copy protection put on some movies. In that case, the fix is usually to update the player's firmware. A search of the Magnavox/Philips support site should determine if there is a firmware update available for your unit.

DVD player manufacturers are increasingly recommending to customers that they update their DVD player's firmware so as to end or prevent problems like players grinding to a halt in mid-movie, video pausing periodically, and mysterious hardware shutdowns.

Please check the proper cd/dvd is correct if cd/dvd is correct with no scratch then you need to change the tray with the motor lens set resolve your issue. Because when there is cd/dvd stucks and wont read menas there will be a lense problem.

DVP3007 is not shown, but the DVPO3005 is the uk version. Main difference is the DVP3005 has a scart connector.

HTR200 is not shown at all. It may be part of a package with a different model number/

If the HTR200 has a Digital Coax input ,then a single phono (RCA) connection from that to the digital coax output on the DVD will give the correct output.

If this is already the case, then you may not be getting sound from the other 2 speakers if there is no soundtrack for them on that part of the DVD.
