I write an email and the click 'send'. This error message (in subject line) pops up. I click send again, and the email gets sent. This just started yesterday.

This problem is very odd, when I am using dial up, I can send email but when using broadband, the error occurs.

using broadband, I can download email but not sending email.

Seems that this issue related to connection issue.

I was having this same problem.

Here's what I did:
Under Tools-->Accounts, select email account and then select Properties-->Servers. At the bottom, check the box "My Server Requires Authentication," and then select Settings. Select "use same settings as my incoming server"

After I did all that, my problem disappeared. Hope that helps you.

ISP is blocking port 25.

- OK.
The full description of that problems is:
0x800CCC6A SMTP 451 ERROR PROCESSING - Error processing request
1- You may have a windows registry corruption problem.
2- Your STMP provider may be experiencing problems with you account.
3-It may also be that you may have more than one mail account setup and your email is attempting to send using an account that you are not presently connected to.
4-That the address they are attempting to send a mail message to is not correct.

This is an error from your e-mail service provider. Talk to them if this error continues to happen.

Check that your originating IP address is not on a spam list (not your email server, your IP address). I know with Exim servers it can cause this exact error.

What happens is if Exim finds you on a black list it will rate limit your outgoing email to 0 but still let you recieve emails.

what causes this? it happens intermittenly and goes away on its own, lasting sometimes a week.
