The filter is behind the square panel - on the right below the loading door. Push it to open the cover and unscrew the filter, some water may come out when you unscrew it. unclog the filter and screw it back in.

E10 is an inlet error, or not filling water properly.
Firstly, check the inlet filter (situated on the machine, where the inlet hose turn into) Then open the machine and check the Inlet Valve (You can attach power to the 2 points to see if the solenoid opens or not)
Error E10 in Frigidaire washer means Long Fill. It means that the washer is taking a longer time to fill; it may be due to low water pressure, due to faulty pressure switch or due to faulty water inlet valve. Please try and clean the inlet filter screen. If this doesn't resolve your issue then check the connections at Water inlet valve. Make sure the connections at the fill valve are firm and check the continuity using multimeter. To access the fill valve take the two screws in the back that are connected. Now, pull the back of the cover towards you and lift it off. Check the three multicolored wires connected to the inlet housing that you have to remove. Next remove the two screws on the inlet housing. Now, pull the housing from the detergent cabinet then back towards it to remove the entire inlet unit. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
Error code e10 means Problems with water inlet or during drain cycle. To resolve the error take the cold water off the inlet tube to the washing machine. Now turn back the water back on. Also, check for filter screen at inlet valve, remove it and clean. If this doesn't work then the door is not latched properly. If this doesn't resolve the issue then you would need to replace the water valve on your machine. Hope this helps...
Hello, The E10 error code indicates there is no cold water coming into the machine, either this is because the inlet valve is bad or there is a kink in the cold water line or a blockage in the filter screen where the cold hose hooks up to the machine or one of the kids turned the cold water off at the back of the machine :) Either way you should check everything I have listed, If you can't find a blockage replace the inlet valve. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!! Mike
The E10 error code means - not filling water. The problem could be because of clogged filters on the water inlet line or a malfunction inlet valve. Also there is still some water inside accumulated so please do check the filter for blockages. To avoid other errors check the outlet valve and the filter as a precaution. Good luck with the machine. Please do rate my solution. Also do post comments for further help if needed.
The E10 error indicates a long fill error, meaning the machine thinks it took to long to fill with water. Recommend you check that the drain tube is not
stuck too far into the stand pipe possibly causing a siphoning
problem, and that the screens on the water valve inlet are cleaned and
not slowing the water flow. You can hook the drain hose off, force water
through it with a water hose, unclog the stinky mess and hook it back
up again and work it.. that would do it...
I had this problem, the washer/dryer stopped working while in the drying cycle and displayed e10 message. It was caused by a faulty three-way inlet valve. The solenoid controlling flow to dryer condenser proved to be open circuit. Pulled washer out from under counter top, unplugged, removed top cover, tested solenoid circuits with ohm meter and found one solenoid was faulty. The filter going into the unit was clear. Replaced whole three way component with one ordered on Internet and all now works fine. Noticed that during drying cycle, water to condenser is constantly being switched on and off, explaining why the green condenser solenoid is the one that wears out first.
