How to reset d915gvwb back to factory setting

Reinstall Windows with the Windows installation CD. You will need the product installation code that is printed on the Windows label that is attached to your computer.
Then you need to install the Intel motherboard drivers. You need to download these drivers from a computer that has Internet access then you can copy them to an USB memory stick and install them on your computer.
You can download the motherboard device drivers from Intel WEB site. Select your model motherboard/device, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link and select your model motherboard : - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx?iid=gg_support-au+home_downloadctr

Computer cant read drivers after isntalling new HD

Computer sounds fine, CD sounds dead! Try copying the drivers onto a new CD using another computer & try them in the laptop again. The drivers may be Vista-specific anyway, so try downloading XP drivers from Toshiba website.

Sound

Hi.
I suppose you meant after installing Windows XP.

Look in the CDs that came with your Computer and find a software related to your sound card or in case it is integrated in your mainboard look in your motherboard CD for the audio drivers(for xp), that's the way the software you deleted is called.

Otherwise you can go to the sound device manufacturer website
or motherboard manufacturer website and look for drivers, try to download the newest version (for XP of course), intall it and SAVE it in a cd.

I hope this can help you.
Good luck.
