Probably laying on some hot component.
You could call a salvage yard for replacement wiring harness or fix individual wires one at a time ...

Cadillac cts 2003 3.2l engine the timing belt jumped time i replaced the set it back on the timing marks an it didn't start i a code po 341 so replaced the camshaft position sensor didn't start

The same thing happened to my 03 CTS. The camshaft position sensor code is often thrown for a variety of reasons. In my case somehow the ECM went when the timing belt jumped (after the serpentine belt broke). It was a bear to diagnose but after installing a rebuilt ECM it runs great. (Don't make the mistake I made: the cylinder head gaskets will fit nicely on either side but if not placed on the correct sides you'll block the single oil port which provides engine oil to the head)

How do you install camshaft and lifters in 2003 Cadillac CTS 3.2 Liter V6 Engine?

Consider purchasing warranted rebuilt cylinder heads from "Cylinder Heads International" for $275.00 each with free return shipping of your cores. If you choose to do the work yourself get a library card which will allow you to free online access to Haynes or Chilton's repair manuals. Or for $27.00 get a one year subscription to "All Data" which has expanded information. Any of the above will have the timing spec's. Don't make the mistake I made trying to do it without borrowing or buying the tool for that purpose.

Traction control

Any help from the manual on Traction Control kicking in? What happens when you turn off TC?

Mellissa, it needs to be diagnosed since these vehicles are highly computerized. Take it to a mechanic who has proper equipment to test. It might be a settings problem .

Have a 2003 cadillac cts, while driving an oil line ruptured burning through a wire harness, now car will not start, lights chk good, power seems fine, have numerous codes from obd2 tester: 02105, P0742,...

Wow, sounds like splicing time, have to get the the area where the harness was damaged and repair it - disconnect the battery, buy some 14 and 16 gauge wire of various colors, and some **** connectors or better yet, a soddering gun and shrink tube and fix them one by one-when you get it done, and hook the battery back, your scanner will let you know shortly if you have any issues.

Or you could go to town to and replace the entire harness, but that is usually easier said than done, no matter what, you have your work cut out for you (plus you have to fix the ruptured oil line too). Good luck

Hello- My 03 cts will crank but will not turn over. a few days ago it took several tries to turn over... now it wont turn over at all. i do see any check engine lights on. any ideas?

Might be a problem with your fuel delivery system. Could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter or something more expensive like your fuel pump.

Cadillac cts cranks but won't start

My 2003 CTS would not start on the first, second or third try after filling the gas tank. Finally after several months of this occuring every two weeks a check engine light came on. It was the evac purge valve. Tom

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Driving about 10 minutes-stop at redlight and all dashboard lights come on and brakes feel locked. Have to restart ignition and then it's fine. Happened about a month ago as well....

Wiring harness runs along the left side of this vehicle between the engine compartment & the instrument panel junction box (left side under dash). damage may have occurred to this harness and no one found/noticed it.
