Does anyone know if the Audiosonic KMV-190 Analog-to-Digital Converter that I brought from Kmart In Australia is able to work on windows 8.1? It says it is supposed to work on windows XP, Vista, 7 &

Have installed and uninstalled many times, pressed the button on the device but the light doesn't seem to go on, just very dim. I also returned the device once and got a replacement but the new one still wont work on 8.1. Oh, and I also called and tried to speak to someone at kmart but they are even less knowlageable about the device than I was. the phone number that came with the device for audiosonic sends me right to calling kmart

I'm using Win 10 and even though the driver (found many places) would install with no errors it was not able to be recognised by any video editing software as a capture device.

This package comes with both a driver and capture software (honestech VHS to DVD 3.0 SE) that is compatible with it and works under Win 10..

You will need a key for the honestech software that can be obtained from an internet archive such as:

Once captured you can convert the video to any other format with a tool such as MediaCoder:

I know how fix it if any still need help. You will need usb with windows 8 install on it, keyboard and micro usb hub, which take other devices get things from it, like gettin gwindows 8 start on tablet digiland. You need start device, press winodws key and alt, then it should start over bios mode, then go to first slot start windows 8 usb, then restart, wait it fully go usb then should be windows 8 install done right after waiting say 5-8 minutes see it, then should be able take it from there. I did it but having problems with updates it needs, which working on. Hey least get winodws 8 right.

Make sure your USB cable is hooked up correctly,and also sometimes I believe you have to authorize your device to your pc/laptop.

I use my mobile phone for wifi for my laptop which works well but my Audiosonic 10" T-22B tablet has trouble connecting to wifi even when the phone is sitting right next to my Audiosonic tablet the tablet...

If it is a cheap tablet, there are high chances that it might not even be able to connect to a wifi. Some cheaper laptops just don't bother putting in the Wi-Fi capability in them. Try to turn your Phone into a hot spot, and see if that helps find it. If not there is not much you can do regarding it.

My archos 28 wont charge

My son and daughter got a new Archos 28 each for Christmas, my son's has stopped charging. I of course can not find my receipt and Kmart wont take it back. How else can I get this fixed? I paid too much money for this thing for it to stop working in just a couple of days....Can anyone help me?

Good day,
I might be missing something, but you are describing a converter box that converts digital signals from an antenna to analog.
The converter box will be set to channel 3, and you should set your tv's to channel 3 as well.
Using the remotes that came with the tv's go into setup and if available as an option, you will find an option to select cable/antenna or automatic. Select automatic or antenna and save. If there is a selector switch on the back of the tv's, set to 3.

Connect antenna cable into input, and use supplied cable to connect from the output of the converter to your tv.

plug in power supply for converter box, tune tv to channel 3 then follow instructions to setup converter box including channel scan.
When done, the converter remote will control everything. However, the tv volume control will work even though the converter remote will have volume as well. The tv remote as well is needed to shut off or turn on tv. These functions can on most tv's be performed on the set as well.

No codes are required. The converter remote will work on any tv.

If you want to use both tv's then you will need a splitter on the output of the converter to send the signal to both tv's. Only one channel can be viewed at a time.

Viewing separate Chanel's requires a second converter box and a splitter connected to the antenna cable for viewing separate channels.

More options are possible, but I hope this helps you get started.
The converter box takes place of the tv's tuner and in essence disables it.
