Question about Cell Phones

I can hear callers but they can't hear me

I have a Nextel i265 phone and my issue is that when I have a call, the person on the other end can not hear me but I can hear them. My mute button is not on and this issue happens when I call out, receive a call in or try 2 way.
Any suggestions?

My i265 goes straight to voicemail and doeasn't allow me to answer.

Per the Sprint support site at,0,6& :
"A call will roll to your voicemail if unanswered after 23 seconds.
This setting can't be changed. However, on your Sprint phone, you can change your ring tone to one that reduces or increases the number of rings you hear before an incoming call rolls to voicemail.
For details about setting up and changing your ring tones, refer to the user guide for your phone."
If this is not the problem with your phone I suggest you call their support line:

Call *2 from your cellular phone or 888-211-4727 (Sprint phones) or 800-639-6111 (Nextel phones)
They may ask you to perform troubleshooting tasks, so it would be best to call from a phone other than the one you need help with.

I can hear, the other person on the other end, but they cant hear me

The problem is that the mouth piece of your phone is bad that is why the cannot hear your voice.
I advice you get the mouth piece of your phone replace because it is bad and that is why your callers cannot hear you.

All you need to do is to change the mouth piece of your phone and you will see that your callers will hear after you have replace the mouth piece of your phone.

Meanwhile, you can get hands free pending the time you will replace the mouth piece of your phone.

Take care.

Using nextel sim in boost headset

If the network provider is the same it may be possible but that is a question I would ask the sales people in store. In some cases the phone may be sim locked as well as network locked and this would mean that it will only work with the sim provided in the package. Providers will normally unlock the phone for a fee or after you have spent x amount on there network. again check this with the sales person b4 you make your purchase.

Can't hear caller's voice

Turn up the volume control.  Don't have the manual in front of me but go into phone settings and look for the volume settings( not the ringer).  Check in your manual, you'll find it.

Airplane Mode..

Here is the link to the user manual; Check page 119 of the manual (129 of the pdf)says: "Sometimes you may want to have your phone on,but turn off its ability to make and receive calls, such as when you are on an airplane. To set your phone so that it cannot make or receive phone calls, Direct Connect calls, Group Connect calls, Talkgroup Calls; or transfer data: 1 From the main menu, select Settings > Advanced > Airplane Mode. 2 Set this option to On. This icon U appears. Note: Pressing p for more than 5 seconds also turns on Airplane mode. To restore your phone?s ability to do all these things: Set this option to Off." Hope this helps :)
