Question about Audio & Video Receivers
System turns on then the display says poweroff , this takes about 4 secs then the system shuts down,,,
I found the solution for me! I had the problem where after 1-5 seconds, my receiver would simply shut down. Twice now I've solved it.
The problem is most likely that you have speaker wire that is touching the opposite terminal or coming close to doing so. Check all your speaker wire terminals and make sure that they are not touching at all or coming close.
Also, make sure that your speaker wires are truly in speakers. If you have speakers plugged into the back of your receiver and then sitting out on the other end, that could be the problem as well.
I hope that helps - it solved it for me!

I had wires on a speaker that were touching. Once I corrected this the power stayed on.
