You would never mix any fuel and oil for the crankcase. If it is a 2-stroke engine, the fuel and 2-stroke oil will need to be mixed before entering the cylinder. Some engines have an automatic mixing setup - those have a separate oil reservoir for 2-stroke oil, but it will usually be a plastic tank, located nowhere near the crankcase. On a "4matic" engine, it fires like a 4 stroke, but there is no crank case, and the fuel needs to be mixed like a 2 stroke. What is the vehicle you are referencing? A dirt bike or street bike? It seems the CR125 and NR125 are both 2 stroke engines, so somehow the fuel needs to be mixed with 2-stroke oil. Can you take a picture of the crankcase oil cap?

My 9.8 has a crankcase full of gas. Left fuel line attached and looks like gas blew into unit. Can I just drain and refill with new oil or do I need to do more?

Hello friend, if the crankcase if full of gas, observe if it's mixed with oil? If not verify the gas pipes it should have a leakage.but if mixed with oil then verify the oil seals and you change the oil.

How do I change the oil in a 1993 Yamaha atv

If it's a 2-stroke where you mix gas & oil or has a separate oil tank under the seat that you fill to mix with the gas ... you don't change the oil. 2-stroke engines don't generally have oil in the crankcase, they're oiled with the fuel they run on (which is mixed with oil). What model ATV do you have?

I would like to know how to fill up the oil tank in Honda Active. Do I have to use a funnel to fill it, if yes how much

You need a funnel.
Go ahead and fill it all the way up,it has an oil pump that automaticaly mixes the proper amount of oil with the gas.
If were talking about the crankcase oil level add enough just to yhe point of the little fill level line etched into the side of the crankcase cover.
Good luck,Gary

How much gas to mix the oil in?

First check that your Mantis needs an oil/gas mixture, most of the newer Mantis tillers have four-stroke motors meaning they have oil in the crankcase and use straight gas. If your Mantis needs oil mixed in the gas use a 50:1 ratio. That's usually 2.6 ounces of two-cycle oil (it's sold in bottles that size) to one gallon of gas but read the oil bottle to get the proper mix ratio.

Oil change

STOP !

Your lawn mower is has a 4 cycle engine
It does not require oil to be mixed with the gas
The oil for the crankcase should be a 10W-30 or 10W- 40
NO GAS IN THE OIL
What you have is a 2 cycle oil that is mixed with gas for most weed eaters, chain saws, ect
Putting a gas/oil mix in your mower WILL severely damage it destroying the main bearings and could lead to an explosion or fire.
Please be careful

Honda gx110 3.5

I'm assuming this is a 4 cycle engine. If yes check the level of the oil in the crankcase - DON'T over fill, drain some out if over filled. If 2 cycle engine your oil mix is to rich. drain gas from tank and mix a fresh match of fuel with the proper amount of oil.

Where do you drain oil on honda gx25 mantis

jj505 has good and bad information.
Honda GX25 is a 4 stroke motor, with oil lubricated crankcase.
Oil drains out the filler.
Oil and gas do not mix on this four stroke.
The PDF below is the Honda manual.

How come the gas mixes with the oil then when u drive it it shuts off

it seems to be a fuel related problem. the gas should not be going into the crankcase. It is leaking into the crankcase . The fuel system is somehow leaking into the crankcase because of excessive flooding, or other fuel related problem like a gasket . don't drive the car like that.
