Maytag Oven Error Code

When using the oven last week it started to beep and I got an F5 followed by an F7 error code. I did not use the oven for several days and tried again only to get the F5 code again.

Maytag Neptune Dryer Lights up (8.8)

Last week i had my Neptune dryer come up with this 8.8 error code and wouldn't start. so i called the Maytag people and they claimed there is no such error code so they sent out a tech (free of charge ) :) and he tested it and found nothing wrong and i had remembered that last week it was working fine when it was warm outside but now that it is cold below 40 deg. it does not want to work so i thought that this has something to do with the the dryer sitting in the room outside where it is cooler that it is inside so i got a heating pad and i placed it under the sensor that sits on the bottom of the dryer to see what would happen but no avail
so then i moved the heating pad to the control panel area on the back and turned on the heating pad for 20 minutes on high and came back and tried the drier and wow it now works so called the Maytag people back and they sent out a rep and i showed this to them and they were amazed on how this worked they are currently working to solve this issue
Hope this tip will help
Best regards Mike

F5 E1 error won't go away

You cannot bypass it. You can check for a broken door latch switch. fairly cheap repair.

I would replace parts. It still is cheaper than a new unit. So get the new control panel and do it yourself and save money. The average life of a dyer is dependant only on when the owner gives up. I just serviced on last week that was 25 years old.

My washer test runs great I hear every thing working correctly but when I do laundry it doesn't spin. How can I fix this issue. I am getting an error code f7 e1

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

This particular washer has a test that we can run to see any errors. This can be confusing on this model.

I am including a document below that will describe how to view the old error codes. Use the section that starts with Activating the service diagnostic modes. You can start with the cycle selector knob at any position.

  1. Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off).
  2. Perform the following sequence of movement using the cycle selector knob. NOTE: After reset, sequence "a" through "e" must be completed within 6 seconds. When it tells you to rotate the cycle selector knob, it means 1 click, not a full turn. Once you have completed the cycle knob turns reset and "a" through "e", turn the cycle selector 1 click clockwise from the position it is already in. This is the fault code display mode. Then press the start button. Each time you turn the cycle selector knob 1 click clockwise after pressing start will show you an error code. Note: this washer stores 4 codes if any. The error codes on this washer are displayed in this format: F5 E3, F7 E1, etc. There is an error code chart in the image below.

If there are no error codes stored, I recommend that you start from the beginning (step 1 above) and then run the Automatic test mode. If this unit detects a problem, it will display the error at the end of this test.

I hope this is helpful. Post back your results.

Error code f73

The F7 error code means that a button on the touch pad is bad. You can clear the error code by the pushing clear/cancel button, if it doesn't reoccur all is well. If it ever happens again, you will need to replace the touch pad.

Error f1 and beeping sound when the oven is on....

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...,wkwdftgtbkdgfrwxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ksrttqdqrxkssrqtgsd/1/1303472/5961857/image12917img-or.jpg

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.,wkwdffkrdwtbgwsxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ksskgsfwrxksrttqdqr/1/1303472/5961857/image12923img-or.gif
