BTW, if you want to avoid buying Kenmore, it's going to be tough; nearly all of the appliance manufacturing in the US belongs to Whirlpool and that Kenmore machine was with high probability built by them.
You can add these brands to your list of things to avoid:
Whirlpool®, Maytag®, KitchenAid®,Jenn-Air®,
Amana®, Gladiator® GarageWorks, Roper®, Bauknecht,
Estate, Insperience, Magic Chef

you may have hose leak, or you may need to replace the water pump.. also check the hoses from the water supply lines. water may be running down behind the hoses
Sounds like your pump is leaking. if it is leaking when you are on a spin cycle.
now if it is stuck on f1 cycle and wont drain unplug and let stay unpluged for 60 seconds and replug and see if you can restart on drain and spin cycle. let me know if I can help with any other problems.
thanks

When changing a pressure switch on a calypso you have to be sure the tub is empty. blow air into the hose to clear, also observe for moisture where the hose connects to the tube for a pin hole leak in the tube.
