I have a 2004 Cadillac Escalade and every so often while make a grinding noise while starting. And it will stop doing it for months and then it would start doing the grinding noise again. Any ideas?
So, you don't think that I need to replace my flywheel, because It can go for months with out grinding and you get a certain period of time, it does it constantly. I do apologize for asking all these questions, just want to make sure that I change the right part.........So, you don't think that I need to replace my flywheel, because It can go for months with out grinding and you get a certain period of time, it does it constantly. Hi Jamal:
I'd be taking it to a brake repair shop right away for a safety check.
Sounds like you're describing worn out brake pads grinding on a rotor.
02 Cadillac Escalade makes a rubbing grinding and starts clunking jumping noise after I drive about 20 minutes it usually does it when I've been driving for a while when it gets hot.
You need to relist this problem. This is for real Cars and Trucks. It sounds like the drive gear is ground off or you have sand of something jamming the gears.
