Burning images to DVDs

Using LiteOn EZ-Dub External LightScribe 20x DVDRW, how do you burn a image onto the top of a DVD disc that has already been finalized before it was put into the Lightscribe EZ-Dub drive or is it possible or not.

Also what is the best Lightscribe equipment available considering that I might want to burn a image onto the disc whether the disc is blank or not.
