Cleaned the feed dog and bobbin area. Oiled the machine. Changed the needle. Changed from the 1/4 inch foot to the zig-zag and general "A" foot. Would not move fabric at all. After cleaning the machine and oiling as well as changing the needle, it will now sew as if it was in reverse.
1) Check the feed dog pressure adjustment. 2) Check the feeding mechanism at the bottom. It may be too low to feed your cloth.
Testimonial: "Thank you, Luong Trong Truong. You left me a message saying to remove the bobbin and leave the machine to run at least 10 - 15 minutes. Second time to do this was a charm and the machine is running smoothly. Whatever was stuck is now unstuck."
It feeds the cloth. Just won't advance it in forward. Only feeds the cloth in reverse.
When was the last time you used this machine?
You may have a frozen stitch length adjuster. You need to access the area where the reverse button is at. It needs to be oiled. Once it is oiled, have the stitch length setting to its forward max then manually push the reverse back and forth to free the stitch length. You may have to temporary insert something (screwdriver) to help with the back and forth movement.
You are going to need to access the stitch length adjustment area. It has frozen. You need to oil it then push the reverse button back and forth to loosen the reverse/forward movement of the feed dog.
