Ive Got Bluetooth on my iphone but when i want to get photos of my friends mobile the bluetooth on myn wont find their device how do i find their device ?

Pairing with iPhone

its the iphone, they still have not designed them to be "device friendly".
Still, Apple is playing their proprietary game where they refuse to make their devices compatible with others throughout the world. Having said that, the iPhone 4, is still only designed for voice to Bluetooth, handset to apple/mac interface, and for streaming music to compatible stereo Bluetooth headsets. I apologize for the not so good news, but apple still refuses to impliment software that makes this devices accessible from most other handheld devices.

Hi, go to Market, install "Bluetooth File Transfer" application. When you start the application click on Bluetooth icon on the right. Click on MENU then search for devices. When you find the Iphone (who has to be visible) pair the devices and then transfer your files. Best regards

As I have learned the hard way the iphone's bluetooth is only to pair with wireless bluetooth headset and car stereo. You cannot connect to any other kind of devices. Also you must have Iphone Os 3.0 or higher to stream music to your car stereo. If it still does not work then the belkin bluetooth audio receiver should solve your problen

that is one of the things I do not like with the iphone. you really cant send photos to other phones. you can only share photos to other iphone or ipod touch, once an app is installed.

To your diappointment the Iphone cannot send photos, songs, or anything like that, yet. What you can try is restoring your Iphone and then see if you can pair it with your device. If that doesn't work, then it just means that the device you are trying to pair with it non-compatible with the Iphone.

Bluetooth on the iphone only recognises other iphones or bluetooth devices such as the handsfree in your car. It will not find other mobile phones with bluetooth. Another scam for apple to get everyone to buy their fones I assume.

Well if it is in discoverable mode then it should find your device. Well what you should do restart both of your devices your iPhone 3G and your Mac laptop that should resolve your problem.
