It's located on the passenger side A pillar. Or behind the right kick panel ! The first thing to do would be check all Modules for DTC'S ! Yes the BCM need's to be programmed when replaced !
Introduction
The procedures below will program the body control module (BCM) correctly after BCM related service, or setup the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) serial number in the BCM after the SDM has been replaced. Before you start, read these procedures carefully and completely.
Programming a new Body Control Module (BCM)
If the BCM has been replaced, perform the following steps in order:

  1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
  2. Connect a scan tool to the data link connector (DLC).
  3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine and all accessories OFF.
  4. Program the BCM. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming.
  5. Setup the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) serial number in the BCM. Select Setup SDM Serial Number in BCM with the scan tool.
  6. Perform the Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent.
  7. Program the key fobs. Refer to Transmitter Programming in Keyless Entry.
  8. Clear all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) with the scan tool.
After the procedure is completed, the personalization settings of the BCM are set to a default setting. Inform the customer that the personalization must be set again. Refer to Vehicle Personalization in Personalization.

SOURCE: Brake lights dont work, Turn Signals all goofy

First thing i would do is chg. the break light switch, and make sure to chk. all grounds around tailights, sometimes if there is a ground problem it will travel back thru the hot wire to get a ground, witch in turn makes everything go wackey.

SOURCE: no brake lights on 2000 gmc 3500, replaced turn

Does it have a trailer hitch and wiring? If so, check to make sure connector is not shorted out and double check your fuses and/or replace fuse. It may look good but I've seen some that were burned out of inspection view. You might also want to trace wiring back to brake lights, just in case snow or build up pull connectors apart.

Locating turn signal relay on 2006 Chevrolet Colorado. I can here it but can't find it

Your hearing it coming from the diver side front speaker . There is no relay , the BCM - body control module makes the turn signals work . What problem are you having ?

Turn Signal Lamps
The FRT TRN/HAZ/CRTSY/MIRR/CARGO and REAR TURN/HAZ fuses in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM). When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, a signal is sent to the BCM to illuminate the desired turn signal lamps. The BCM has an internal flasher that sends an ON-OFF voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, a separate ground signal is sent to the BCM to activate and flash all turn signal lamps including both IPC turn indicators. The front and rear turn signals are grounded at G105.
The IPC illuminates the TURN SIGNAL ON indicator in the driver information center (DIC) when the IPC determines that the turn signal is active for more than 1.2 km (0.75 mi). The BCM sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate the audible warning.

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

My rear turn signals are not working. front turn signals work rear parking lights work brake lights work

In the diagram for rear lamp, the top wires are voltage, the bottom black wire is ground. The brown wire on either side should be tail lamps, goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch. The other top wire on either should be for turn signal. With everything turned on, is there voltage on that wire?
Because the front works and the rear don't, possible wiring circuit problem? The voltage for turn signals comes from bcm. The bcm knows when you turn on turn signal switch, either side, then the bcm sends voltage to turn signal lamp at the rear and front.

Not sure, but I've heard a bad hazard switch can cause strange problems.
Also, if your truck has a body control module that controls interior and lights, that may be your problem, too. Good luck.

Replace the turn signal switch. They can be fixed if your up to it, but you have to disassemble the switch. there are parts that have to go back in the right order. Let me know. The longer you let this go , you will start to lose the headlights. All the outside lights run threw the turn switch.

I suspect there is a problem with the turn signal/ hazard switch. turn the turn signal on left or right, if it doesn't flash, grip the hazard button and gently wiggle it around, if the signals start flashing, replace the turn signal switch. The Brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch, if the 3rd brake light works, the brake switch is OK. I don't think it has anything to do with the anti theft system (at this time)
