Most likely the backlight bulb is broken. It depends on the type of display if it is a easy fix or not. All models after 2010 have LED backlight. But who knows maybe there is only a connector dislodged. I who say disconnect the mains and open up the frontpanel.

SOURCE: thermador oven control panel light is not working

Please see post by bonanzsapilot on 14 March 2009; he gives exact & easy to follow directions for making this repair for <$10. It's listed uner 'Thermador SC301IT oven - FixYa'. In a separate post I added the correct capacitor numbers from Newark.com. I made the fix in abt 30 min & it's good as new. Thermador no longer makes control panels for this oven & no wiring diagram is available to help. Shop price was estimated at $500.

SOURCE: i replaced the control board in a double wall oven

PF simply means a power failure and simply needs to have the breaker reset to accept the new board that you replaced. There are times when you may need to replace the breaker that controls you oven electricity.

I have reset the clock the oven sounds as though it's working for just 2 seconds and then stops. The light will not come on at all. I have cleaned all contact points still no luck .

inverter failure blows safety fuse internally this will power down the oven to prevent further damage new inverter and fuse needed.

The door to my Neff oven is not closing so heat is escaping from the top - please help

You need new hinges use linkhttp://www.neff-eshop.com/eshop/neff/gb/prodlg.htm?Maktx=b1644&eshoptype=A
click on the spares listing for your model (you will need the full Enr from the oven rating plate) and order the hinges (always replace as a pair). Hinges are on page 3 parts list in position 0319 and 0320 (these are not the parts numbers, you need to highlight these positions numbers on the breakdown from your specific model to get the correct part number (six digit part number) You may find that although the position number are different for the left and right the actual part numbers are the same. You can add the items to the basket and order directly from Neff.Hope this helps

Do all neff oven & hobs have to wired in using 6mm cable or can they be wired into a13 amp system

If it is a single oven on it's own then it can be used from a 13 amp plug and socket, the same with the hob, if it is seperate from the oven it can be used from a 13 amp socket.
If it is a combined unit, then it will have to be hard wired to a seperate circuit using 6mm twin and earth cable, and fused on it's own circuit.

Neff fan oven dead. Where do I look next? I've

this could all so be the timer For all Free appliance repair videos visit our VIDEOTUTORIALS Nefffan oven element video1, If the fan motor in the back of the oven is going round andthe temperature light is on (normally little red light), but there is no heatthen you will probably need a new oven element, these are generally very easyto fit and readily available from our website these can be tested with aelectric meter.
To gain access to the NEFF element you willhave to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will seethe fan and element, if youlook closely at the element you willprobably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes howeverthere is no evidence of a fault but the element is open circuit ie:broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. Someelements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are held in place by nutsfrom the rear of the machine.
2, If your NEFF fanoven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning the foodmore on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor is working you willsee the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element is heating but the fan motor is not blowing the heat into the oven thenyou need To replace the oven fan motor is a little moreexpensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have the opposite problem ie: your oven is over heatingand burning everything then you will need to replace your NEFF oven thermostat
4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer is if your NEFF oven is not working at all ie: noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTO mode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

You have a very good chance that it could simply be a faulty oven elemenr or burned wire or even an over temp. cutout switch. Have it checked by the technician and possibly get a quote..(When repair is done, you want to see faulty items).

Neff B1432 Oven Not Heating; oven light flickering

If the fan is working o/k then you need a new element fitting.
Remove the panel at the rear of the oven, there you will see the element, remove the fixing screws and ease the element forward, taking care not to lose the wires, disconnect the leads and fit new element.
The light flickering is probably the bulb not screwed in propely or a bad contact, nothing to worry about.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks
