When i turn the laptop on I can here a buzing in the flopy i dont know why its doing that. also the screen remains black whats the problem can u help me anyone :[
Sounds like there maybe a hd issue and tries to boot from floppy try using a boot disk and see if it will come up,
Buzzing in floppy could just be the laptop seeking any possible boot disk. Boot disks are used to fix problems generally.
The issue with the screen is much more worrying. If the laptop has a display output port, try plugging it into a suitable monitor and seeing if that monitor displays the picture.

The LCD is fine as you can see the display.
This is a backlight fault.
This may have been caused by dropping (breaking the backlight tubes) or the inverter circuit has become faulty.
This should not cost hundreds to repair.
I think you should talk to the seller with a view to getting your money back first though.
