ASTA12JEC Fujitsu Air Conditioning unit. Dear sir or madam. My air conditioning unit is no longer responding to remote control but stays on. It used to work fine then one day it stopped responding.

It has a pretty good website which you can insert your model number and it will advise cost and availability or call Fujitsu direct. There are Fujitsu part suppliers all over Australia.

there is no indication that synching is required for OEM remotes, just chack and make sure the batteries are good. If it is a universal type remote, the remote manufacturer provides those instructions.

Try resetting the unit itself by shutting the breaker off then turn it back on and see what happen

On Page EN 7 it has the operating instructions for the hand held remote unit. When the word "cool" appears in the display, depending on the temperature that the room is and what the remote is set for, the unit will function in the air conditioning mode.

Get your Dog to the nearest VET immediately. The next thing is to ask your Fijitsu dealer for a spare remote control.
If not then you must check out if the multipurpose remtoe will work out with this model.
Get help from an accessories shop to give a remote to test/replace before buying.

Remove your remote control on the unit, follow the manual step by step. First, do the emergency on/off button, then operate the air conditioning using the remote control, follow the procedure of your manual.You may notice a clicking sound of your remote control. The yellow/green color of your emegency on/off button will turn to blue. Do not put it back your remote control on the unit because he may sense the temperature of the vent, and your air conditioning will not stay on, it will shut off every five minutes. Your problem is solve.
