Could be several things. But to start, check or replace the air filter. Use brake clean to clean the MAF sensor, just spray it, both sides. (between the filter and throttle body). And clean the throttle body on the inside( use a toothbrush and clean the back side of the plate and where is sits). Check for vacuum leaks.
The stall problem could be a faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle body. The computer uses the valve to adjust base idle speed depending on the load on the engine.
