Lines in photo

Thermal heads show faults in two ways.
if a single line through print and you can see some colour in the print is is dust on head. Clean with isoprop alcohol and a lint free swab.

if it is a white line with no colour then its most prob a thiristor blown on the head, the white line will soon expand as other thiristors next the the faild one will soon also fail. A head replacement would be required. Is the head set at the correct voltage, replacement heads come with a test sheet and a value to adjust the head voltage too.

Vertical streaks caused by one of two things. Most probably glass needs cleaning. Could also be several pixels are bad. If that's the case, it's cheaper to buy a new all-in-one. Try cleaning first. Colors may be from your monitor not being adjusted properly. Do the photos print out properly (except of course for the streaks)? If so, monitor is the culprit. If not, scanner tube is shot. Again, buy another scanner/printer.

go to printers and faxes, select your printer, right click it. select printing preferences. select maintenance. run head cleaning. check whether your head is ok by nozzle check. still if you have prob run head alignment.

i am facing same problem with my canona430 camera , I have been using for the past 2.5 years. I went to authorised service center & they told me the prob. is due to over exposure & repairing cost will be around Rs.3000/-(approx. USD 60) with bill

I assume you went through all the Epson utilities trying to fix your prob so:
Try increasing the resolution (DPI) of your print jobs.

hi there it may look like ccd prob try fuji tech help they may tell u exect stuff coz mine have some kind of same prob and i send it for repair and they said it was ccd fault

try connecting a normal phoneline to that line and try.
It might be a prob with long dist calls.

If u are ok with the phone test, check its in tone or pulse. Try switching. Then also if that is not working just reset the printer and try.

o i see i had this prob , its condensation/liquid inside the camera , i suggest that you let it dry out , possibly with a hair dryer but DONT LEAVE IT TOO LONG the camera is sensitive so short period of hot air and letting it cool

I had same prob with Epson but went into preferences/main and changed from text and graphics clicked to picture or best picture..problem solved.
