If its a mechanical pot(turns around 270 degrees then stops) check the earth wire is still connected OK to the pot and on the pc board or connector is ok if you are able. If is then will need replacing most likely. If its multi-turn digital then it could be dry joints in the amp
Usually the said channel's slider/potentiometer's internals that are dirty/dusty, or the snap ring that holds it down came loose and no longer permits the internals to contact correctly. So first thing to do is to open up the pot and shoot contact cleaner in it and turn it/slide it a few times to get it in all the way and everywhere. Then just put it all back together and try it, if it didn't help it means the pot is done for and need replacing. If you do not know how to desolder and replace it, take te amplifier to your local technician to have him do it.
