These are computer run items now. If you unplug it for 2 or 3 minutes does it reset itself? If not try pressing refrigerator an ice buttons together. If that does not work the evaporator fan or control panel needs to be replaced. That about all one can do these days other than keeping the air ways clean so fan is clear. But ecen that will not stop these voltage spikes on the line from ruining good appliances.

To Start the Appliance
Allow the appliance to stand for 2 hours after
installation. Plug in the appliance and switch on at the mains
supply. Turn the thermostat control (B) to a midway
setting and adjust the slider control, situated on the
back wall of the fridge section, to a midway position
between "MIN" and "MAX". The pilot light (A) will illuminate. Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours for the correct temperature to be reached before placing food inside.
To switch off the appliance turn the thermostat
control to position "?"
After 4 hours, measure the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer. Should be between 2 and 10 degrees centigrade in refrigerator and app. -18 in freezer.
Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Did your refrigerator previously experience a power loss? If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer will sound and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to your refrigerator by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. It is good to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your refrigerator. After deactivating the alarm and your refrigerator has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, your refrigerator may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause. Best regards!
Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like the temperature control is in the OFF position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try activating your freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. Please allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully.

That is the dumbest answer I've ever heard from a technician.
The cold control on most boxes controls the freezer temperature. You want the freezer temp to be around zero degrees.
Somewhere (usually in the refrigerator section) there's another control that actually sets a damper, letting some cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator. Higher numbers equal lower temperature. Find that second control knob and turn it up by 1 or 2 numbers, let an hour or so pass and check your refrigerator temp. You want about 40 degrees in the fridge.
Hello Michael - Sounds like the temperature control was
accidently turned OFF. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the

electronics. Let's try activating the freezer by pressing the UP arrow until
display shows "4" or desired setting. Allow 24 hours for temperature to

The temperature controls are located at the top front of the refrigerator or freezer compartments. The recommended setting should be correct for normal household refrigerator use. The controls are correctly set when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm. Wait 24 hours for your refrigerator to completely cool before adding food. If you add food before the refrigerator has completely cooled, your food may spoil. NOTE: Adjusting the refrigerator and freezer temperature controls to a colder-than-recommended setting will not cool the compartments any faster. If the temperature is too warm or too cold in the refrigerator or freezer, first check the air vents to be sure they are not blocked before adjusting the controls. To turn Off/On: Style 1 Press the freezer down arrow touch pad until a dash (-) appears in both the refrigerator and freezer displays. Neither compartment will cool. Style 2 Turn the freezer control to the word Off. Neither compartment will cool when the freezer is set to Off.
Energy Saver option (on some models) The Energy Saver option turns off the heater which helps to reduce moisture on the door hinge seal. The refrigerator uses more energy when Energy Saver is off. Press the control to On to save energy when the environment is less humid. Press the control to Off when the environment is warm and more humid, or if you notice moisture on the door hinge seal.
Adjusting controls If you need to adjust the temperature in either the refrigerator or freezer compartment. NOTES: For Style 1 control, press the up and down arrow touch pads; for Style 2 controls, turn the dial to adjust the temperature. Except when starting the refrigerator, do not adjust either control more than one setting at a time. Wait 24 hours between adjustments for the temperature to stabilize.
Check your settings for the temperature controls. Freezer may be set to warm (IE #1) set it mid point. Also set the refrigerator at mid point and go from there to adjust each to maintain the temperature balances.
