All i want to do is read my emails but i am going round in circles bit little fed up filling in my username and password

If you go to
Google
then in the middle of the screen is the search box, but at the top right of the window are four to five options, one of which is "Gmail". If you click on this you will load a page where you can input your username and password. Fill in your username (Gmail email address) and under the sign in button, there is a "need help?" link. If you click on this the next page gives you three options, forgotten password, forgotten username and other problems. If you click in the circle next to "I don't know my password" and click continue. You will be asked for your email as registered with gmail, clicking continue will lead you to one of those annoying pages where you enter the characters displayed. On the next screen enter a gmail password you remember and then you will get a page to ask for a text message or automated phone call, whichever you prefer which will give you a code to enter into the next page and then you will be able to change your password.

You can change your passwords every day if you want. You will need the current passwords to be able to change to new ones.
You might want to consider a password manager that stores all of your passwords securely in an encrypted file. They the software will fill in the username and password for you when you go to password protected sites.
There are a lot of good password keepers available that are free and well tested and recommended. Just to an search online for password keepers.

you can reset by going to alternate email (try recovering password to that email and get into that) or by answering security question
- don't tell me you don't know the answer to that is also.

I am going to tell you how to do this in 8 very simple steps.

1) Go to Yahoo.com. In the top right is a Mail link. Click that to begin the email signup process, or click Yahoo! Mail

2) Click on the Create New Account button. It's that ginormous yellow button near the top right of the Yahoo! home page, next to the even-more-ginormous ad.

3) Choose your login. You can also choose to sign in with your Facebook or Google account. Instead of clicking Create New Account, click the Facebook or Google login buttons to create a Yahoo! email address. Once you've linked your Facebook or Google username and allowed the connection, you will fill out the rest of the Yahoo! Mail signup form.

4) Enter your basic info. Fill in your name, gender, birthday, country, language, and postal code in the appropriate fields.

5) Create a Yahoo! ID and password. Make it one that you will be comfortable using for a long time, as this will identify you to your email recipients. Remember that you can use numbers and letters and even a single dot.

• Type the Yahoo! ID of your choice in the field provided, and then select one of 3 domains: yahoo.com, ymail.com, and rockemail.com. Verify the availability of your username/domain combination by clicking the Check button to the right.You may have to think of an alternative username if your top choice is already taken by another Yahoo! user.
• Choose a password when you have successfully entered a unique username. Passwords must be at least 6 characters long and keep in mind that passwords are case-sensitive. You will be asked to type your password twice to ensure accuracy.

7) Verify you are not a robot. Enter the visual code that only humans (with warped glasses) can read. Type the characters shown in the last section of the registration page, into the field provided.

8) Read the Terms of Service. Doesn't everybody? Thoroughly examine every page till the end or till your eyes glaze over, and then print a copy for your records. Select Create My Account

• Go to google website www.google.com and then proceed to SIGN IN option

1. If you cant remember your username or password : Click option below it that says can't sign in or forgot password , now from there it will give you option to answer some security question you created before in order for you to remember or retrieve your password
2. Or it will ask you what is your google account email address , so they can reset your password and end it to the email

• If you can't remember still your email address

1. Just simply click on forgot username optionand the it will ask your any email address to send the instruction on how you can retrive your account information

well, i od need a bit more information. however, i have experienced some problems with yahoo, so ill just go ahead and see if i can help.

my problem was when you go to log in, it tells you you have the incorrect user/pass. and then when you go to reset the account your somehow logged in.
its a bit odd, but it should make scene after i go into detail.

1) go to log in and have it tell you the user / pass is incorrect.
2) re enter your username / password and fill in the security code
3) when prompted, go to reset password.
4) look up at the top, it should say Hi (indicating your logged in)
5) now go back to mail.yahoo.com
6) you should now be in your inbox
7(optional): create a new email (i recommend gmail - and forward all your emails there)

I'm assuming you are using Outlook as your email service which is either IMAP or POP and the SMTP information, you have to set this up within the software. Generally it will be the email that you have now you have been using all along. You will also have to read up on their instructions as far as using or even if they allow you to have this service with their email system. Usually most free email programs will let you set this up all you do is go to your email program and find out what the POP or IMAP informations is.
Example: [email protected] the POP is going to be either mail.zipdip.com and the SMTP will be smtp.zipdip.com Then your username and password. Now you will need to use your existing username and password that you use for your email account, Outlook Express has an automatic configuration all you do is fill out the form with your current email and username and password that is it away you go only if your email server handle this type of configuration. I hope that this gives you some sort of idea how this works.
