Problem for Dual Electronics CECT P168 Cellular Phone
HELP! My new cellphone quadband won't read my AT&T SIM card!!!
Hello! I ordered a cellphone from China and it is a dual SIM, quadband. When I inserted my AT&T sim card on either of the SIM slots what I get is "No Service". I cannot refer to the manual that was included because it is in Chinese writings. My cellphone's model is Apple Ad165. Please help.
P.S. I tried to put my sim card to another phone and it works, I get the Cingular/AT&T service. I also tried to give my IMEI to the AT&T technical support but I get the same problem, "No Service".

ok i put my sims card in the wrong way and now it is stuck and i can't live without my phone

did you put the card in facing the correct way?

i ordered the I9 3gs phone a few days ago and its on its way to me. but when i was looking around the net, i noticed that i had to make sure that the description said it will work with my sim card, more specifically ATnT 3g sim card. Since some phones wont work at all with a 3g sim card. and those that do, will only work on a 2g network.
this is all stuff i've read and gathered. hope it helps :-)

hi si jbe... have some idea about your problem... if it still happening when you use other sim... maybe your phone setting is not supported of the service provider of your sim or try to convert the setting of your phone because it is still set to chinese settings...... thank you very much...
