Re: How do I save (copy of)a text onto memory stick?
Try drag and drop.go to my computer click on the icon for USB stick then shrink the window of the document you wish to save or locate its folder ...then drag the folder into the window of the USB stick .it should copy the file but leave an original in my documents.

Looks like you need to set up your e-mail account onto your new computer. If you still have it set up on your old pc you can go into outlook express and export the account ,save it onto a memory stick, then go onto your new pc and tell the mail program on it (outlook express ? ) to import the account you saved onto your memory stick.
There is no hard drive that can be removed as the Wii uses flash data storage. However there are options for you to backup data to an sd card or memory stick. If you go into the Wii data management settings you can select save games and channels to be saved to an external device such as the sd card or USB memory stick. This will then be able to be used and copied onto a new system and the save games and channels will be installed on it too.
Even if the Memory Stick Duo is inserted in the Camera, the images will not be saved in the Memory Stick Duo until the capacity of the Internal Memory is full. To save the images in the Internal Memory to the Memory Stick Duo, select the EXPORT option from the Viewing Menu of the Camera. Touch the MENU icon when viewing images to select the IMPORT option.
There are two option in the Viewing Menu of the Camera (Export and Import). Export option is to save from Internal Memory to Memory Stick and Import is for saving from Memory Stick to the Internal Memory.
This Camera is having 4GB of Internal Memory, hence the images captured will get saved in the Internal Memory first and then to Memory Stick once the Internal Memory is full.
not possible via the webmail..

file -->export -->select it as windows email -->export it to desktop and copy it to your memory disc
If you go into the Garmin Training center software under "File" you should see "Export". On some versions there is a Back up as well.
If you go into the Export and Export everything, Work outs, History, and Courses (all seperatly) you should be able to save these files to a USB stick. Using the USB stick you should then be able to "Import" these files to the new PC. Obviously you will need to install the Training Center onto your new PC first.
How "full" is the hard-drive? Perhaps, you could have only a few gigabytes to be "saved".
Click Start
Click My Documents
Click Edit
Click Select All
Right-mouse click on any of the highlighted items.
Click Properties.
Windows will report on the size (megabytes/gigabytes) of all the selected documents and folders.
Perhaps, you can buy 4GB or 8GB or 16GB USB memory-stick,
and manually copy your 'My Documents' files/folders to that memory-stick.
Or, use the "Windows Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to "collect" all your files & E-mail, and write an "export" file to that memory-stick.
Then, on the "new" computer, run the same Wizard, and "import" from the USB memory-stick onto your new computer.
I suggest that you save your data with Simply Accounting and know where you save it. In window explorer, find the file you saved and copy it to the USB memory stick. You should see the USB memory stick as another drive in Windows Explorer. After the copy is complete, Click the USB memory stick and you should see the file. This way, the copy (back up) is confirmed.
You should be able to save you favorites to a CD. Try using the Import/Export Wizard again but, this time, save them to your desktop (don't try to export them directly to the CD).
I assume that you're using Internet Explorer. Open your Web browser then click File. Next, click Import and Export. This time when you get to the part where you choose a location to import the file, choose Desktop. Just click browse, when the window opens click Desktop then save.
After you have exported the file to your desktop, you should find a file on your desktop called bookmarks.htm. Next, copy (or send) this file to the blank CD. Once that's done, open the CD to see if the file was copied.
