The firmware is locked. The firmware is embedded with SL.No. of the printer. Try search in the internate who take money and provide the suitable firmware for the respective printer. They may need few data of the printer viz. s/n,CRUM etc. and send the firmware file on email.
however genFIX v1.33 may be searched and downloaded.
Note- FIRMWARE UPDATE MAY CAUSE PERMANENT FAIL OF THE MACHINE IF ANY THING GOES WRONG. CARE MUST BE TAKEN FOR UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY.

there is a crum at right side of the toner car. there are 4 contact surface,cover with plastic(insulation) tape only the contact points. use. if not reseted you need to replace with a new crum chip of the toner cart.

You can order a crum chip or replace the cartridge.
Google a business called The Parts Drop. Call and ask for Britt. I am sure he will have the crum chip to replace and reset that code fairly cheeply.
The CRUM chip is what tells the copier that the correct toner is installed. It is specific to the toner cartridge. If it is a new cartridge then it should have a new CRUM chip and there should be no problem. If it is a recharge it's possible that the chip was not changed or the wrong one was used.
crum has happened to me when using the wrong toner cart or using a non-Dell cart. If that is the case, replace the chip from the old Dell cart into the new non-Dell - easy to do by prying the small circular top off. You'll probably need to switch to non-Dell toner on the printer - go through menu to find it and your toner usage software will be disabled - that's life.
I also had this happen with real Dell toner cart and I did the same thing to rectify.
please help with diagnosis of following error for Dell 5110CN CRUM ID -093-665 I tried everyting. I took the imaging drum out and poot it in, and notihng. This imaging drum worded before OK.
