It's simply a plug and play machine ;) This model has a temperature control.....which I don't exactly know how it works.....but I always keep mine toward the middle/center....and my black angus patties are typically done within 10 minutes cooking time.....
When the green light is flashing, it is not at the set temperature. It will be solid when temperature is correct. You are selecting grill or griddle and then turning the temperature knob for that selection? It's not working with either selected?
the indicator light doesn't have anything to do with how hot the grille gets, that is preset by an internal thermostat and the light just comes on when that temperature is reached, more than likely the miniature neon bulb that light is burnt out, any appliance repair shop can replace this bulb for you
You may not have access to this number if you don't have the owner's manual. 1-800-233-9054. It is not for the rushed or impatient person. I was able to order a replacement knob for the timer of a Geo. Foreman rotisserie model no. GR82 purchased in 2000. Good luck.
