Call divert Hi I have a mitel 5212 handset. I would like to divert calls to another extension.

You can use the superkey
Phonebook - No
Advisory msgs - No
call forwarding = Yes
Allways = Review
from there you can select the extention number you want to forward the calls to. Having done that you need to turn on call forward always on. I do this by using one of the programmable keys on the Phone

hit the blue button (Superkey). hit no until you see DND and you can turn it off or on. If you don't see if you have to login to phone system and get feature access code.

Attendant Directed Call Pickup
Description
The attendant can perform a directed call pickup from the console. This will permit calls to be retrieved before the recall timer expires or if calls have been transferred to the wrong extension.
Conditions
None.
Programming
Assign an access code to Feature 09 (Directed Call Pickup).
Enable COS Option 218 (Directed Call Pickup).
Operation
• Dial the Directed Call Pickup code.
• Dial the extension number of the ringing telephone - the call is connected.

I can't pick up a phone call

Call Pickup doesn't ring your phone or light up. Your 5212 phone isn't considered a "display phone" Meaning that the display doesn't have softkeys. These are the 3 keys directly below the display and their function changes as you are using the phone.

Your phone's Pickup Key should be used if you want to pick up a call that is ringing on a nearby telephone... usually only the phones within earshot of your phone.

You must pick up the handset, then either press the call pickup key or dial the call pickup feature code.... this code can be different for every system as it's custom from the install vendor.

Can't activate voice mail on Mitel 5212 IP phone

You need to verify your Call rerouting, you will also need to clear any call forwarding that might be active. Its possible the system is not able to transfer a call to the forwarded location.

Mitel 5212 no dial tone and goes straight to voicemail

Not too sure about the no dial tone issue, but you can check to see if the DND is turned on...
Press the Blue Superkey and scroll thru till you see DND (Do Not Disturb) is on and shut it off.

Log In Mitel 5212 IP Phone trouble

Hi this is probably because the phone has gone to Hotdesk mode and your company blocks hotdesk phones from making external calls. You will need to log back into the phone. If you know your extention number you can press *96 on the phone you then need to enter your extention number and press # you then need to enter a pin number. If you do not know your oin or have not been given one try pressing # again if the phone reasks for the pin you will need to contact your systems administrator to reset your pin - Hope this helps (ps *97 loggs the phone out)
