What make , model , year vehicle ? Temp door stuck or the actuator that controls it bad and is stuck on A/C . These actuators are electric motors in most vehicles now ! When the vehicle is on do you hear a clicking noise coming from the rear unit ?
if you can reach the heater box. see if you can "feel" anything moving in the area of the air mix door, if the controls are the rotary style, it is somewhat common for the controls to be bad. There are no conventional cables with this system, it electrically controlled...
Cloged /stucked hot water tap ,the command does not open way for hot water.Must track the tubes, wires to find the tap.Cloged water system.Cleaning aditive several times it's a luck shoot
A car engine is bound to make noises. After all, there are so many moving components and parts inside of an engine as it is running. Most of these noises are not very loud and they are nothing to worry about. But there are times when engine noises will sound a bit unusual or strange.
A good example of this is when there is a ticking noise coming from the engine. A ticking sound could be caused by any number of reasons, such as a low level of oil or loose components.
You may hear a ticking, clicking, or tapping noise while the vehicle is idling, accelerating, or even after receiving an oil change. To understand what the actual problem is, you must understand the signs to look out for.
Thats a very inexpensive route to start with. It blows out cold air when you put your heat on?If so it could also be in the heating unit itself. If your car makes a clicking noise when you switch your heat over from the AC, it could be your temperature contol unit. My wifes car had that issue, and hers is a a mits Galant, but is set up the same as some stratus's.
I had same problem.I would turn temp adjust switch and I would here this loud clicking from in the dash ( sounded like a plastic gear was stripped) and then it would go from a/c to heat or vice versa. I limped it along for a couple years, finally wouldn't change over to heat this year. There is a motor that controls a heating valve that failed. I could only get it the motor from the dealer. Had a guy that specializes in a/c work install it.
The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.
I had the same problem with my ford explorer. I can not recall the name of the part. However I think they call it a heater ductdoor. Check with any of your local parts store and I'm sure they can give you the proper name for the part.
