Echo PB 200- finally got it running right, sounded great. Pulling fuel and priming pretty easy. Let it run and then shut it off to put air filter back on it. Now it won't start. I was getting inconsistent spark, but then I played with the on/off switch and now it sounds like it's wanting to kick. My arms can't take it anymore. Any ideas?
Do u have the kill switch on or the choke closed did you foul the plug take it out and clean it do u have the right fuel mix in it 50 to 1
I did clean the plug and I'm getting spark with the plug out. I used a tester to see if I was getting spark and it's reading positive. However, there have been multiple times that the plug has been out and no spark has occurred with the switch on. I have to mess with it before I get any spark.
The choke is open, not closed. I seem to get more firing with the choke half open. Do I need to try a resistor plug? Maybe something with a little more kick?
It was running perfectly until I stopped it to put the air filter on. Once I stopped it and put the filter on, I couldn't get it to start again.
My fuel mixture is 50:1, all echo product and 87 octane. I'm not sure it's a fuel issue. I haven't changed anything since it was running earlier today. I replaced the fuel lines and filter last week. All of that product is new
is the coil wire grounding out before it gets to the plug , the inslulation can be cracked and grounding out under the cover ,
I'm going to take a look at it and get to back to you soon
Now, it will not pull at all
*sigh*
